Interaction with guests
Usually, either myself or a friend meets a guest on arrival, although it is possible for those arriving at unsocial hours to let themselves in. I am available by 'phone/email to answer questions and to arrange for taxis for guests. Sometimes, I come for the departure, however, I generally leave guests to let themselves out at their convenience, which is very easy.
There is a converted coal vault adjacent to the house, which can be used as a luggage storage room, enabling guests to retrieve their luggage without needing to re-enter the house,
Other things to note
It is important to know how to use the heating before the person greeting leaves, although it is automatically set to go on both mornings and evenings. There is a detailed instruction booklet in the kitchen but it is easier if you ask the person introducing you to the house.
Please be careful to lock the front door when leaving.
Try not to wear shoes in the bedroom itself as it is carpeted.

I run a small organic business from home. I live in central London very near to tube stations and good local buses. There are plenty of amenities nearby, with supermarkets, restaurants, cafes, Boris bikes, library and a lovely park (Battersea). My interests include cooking, ski-ing, walking, reading and eating out.
