I arrived late on a red-eye, and Kato heroically stayed up to welcome me into her home. She outlined her responsible house-rules clearly and kindly. It was a joy cracking beers with her; she was always happy to share her time, conversations, and snacks. Recognizing my exhaustion after a long week, she even arranged my return to airport! Kato is genuinely a phenomenal host.

Kato's place is great, it is tucked away on a quiet side street but still a very short walk to Alewife station among other places.

Kato is a very nice host who is easy to communicate with. She is also a smart and interesting person, I enjoyed talking with her. Kato is always willing to provide help if you need anything. She doesn't have to but she even made coffee and some meals for me, I really appreciate. The location is good, it takes around 10~15 minutes by walk to metro Red Line Alewife stop or Davis stop that takes you to most attractions. The shared kitchen and bathroom are clean and well equipped. The room is clean and quiet, the bed is comfortable, I slept well everyday. This room has its own entrance, I can have some more privacy which is good too. The neighborhood is nice, safe and quiet, I enjoyed walking to the netro station. I had a wonderful stay in Kato's place. Kato, thanks a lot for your hospitality!

Kato's place is quite convenient for me to get to Harvard by taking the 77 bus. The place is quiet and safe with groceries, eateries, and other establishments close by. Davis Square is about 12 minutes away by foot. The smaller room has a separate entry and is closer to the basement where laundry is located, but is significantly smaller than the other room (also listed on Airbnb). Common areas are accessible and shared to all and have nice natural light. The shared bathroom is as appears and is kept clean. Kato is welcoming and attentive, as are her neighbors - one of whom keeps the shared garden and back patio looking beautiful with plants. Long term guests frequent the place, and less turnover in housemates is a good thing in my opinion. Many of my classmates struggle to find housing in the area, including university housing, and I am sure that Kato's place is one of the most reasonably priced around with added benefit of amenities needed for longer stays. I decided to stay longer on a regular lease after trying out the place, so that goes to say that I like it enough to stay there for at least a full semester, if not longer. Biggest benefits to me are affordability, location, safety, and privacy (considering it's a shared flat).

Kato is a great host. She was very welcoming and cared about what I needed. The day I arrived was raining and she picked me up at the T station. The picture of the room is accurate and all the beddings were clean. Though I did not cook, the kitchen was clean too. During my stay, the other suite-mate was very nice to me. It usually took me 10-15 minutes to the closest T station. It's not too far but since I went to work by T every morning, it would be great if it's even closer.

Kato was a good host. She let me borrow her parking pass for the couple weeks I stayed with her. The place is in a nice quiet area in Cambridge.
