Hidden amongst the banksias, cabbage tree palms and Eucalypts of 1770 is this peaceful and simple abode. Thoughtfully set up for singles, couples or families with classic books, games, puzzles and dvds. 5 mins walk to beach. Love of nature essential.

The space

A nice light filled space. Perfect for lazing around with a book, doing one of our many puzzles or staring out through the trees at the blue estuary of 1770.
No wifi, but good mobile coverage and 3g/4g access.
This is in the age old tradition of beach shack so tolerance of encroaching nature eg: occasional ghekko pooh, is essential.
If obsessively clean and shiny is your thing this is not the place for you.

Guest access

Basics but no bbq. Beautiful free bbq areas down by the waterfront.

Interaction with guests

No interaction with guests. Communication via phone or email is welcome though.

Other things to note

Crisp 100 % cotton sheets and fluffy towels provided.

You won't find a quieter and more private location to stay. It was clean and had everything we needed. It was a treat for us to see local wildlife, like wallabies and brush turkeys in the surrounding bush.

"Beach shack"? OK, if you're looking for modern spic and span, this is not the place. That's just what the ad said. But "Beach shack" does not do this place justice. It's faultlessly clean, comfortable, with ample hot water and crisp white cotton sheets, and private, surrounded by bush. And that's not the best bit- the location is brilliant, right on the point with the estuary on one side and the ocean on the other, both within easy walking distance. For value, location, comfort and ambience, in 1770 it doesn't get any better. Why would anyone want to stay in Agnes Waters, when they could stay here?

My partner and I really enjoyed staying at Judith's place ❤️ Just what we needed, some peace, seclusion and surrounded by the beautiful nature that 1770 has to offer.
