Magnificent marina and ocean views from the Ilikai #1239, a beautiful 1000 square foot 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo with large private balcony at the Ilikai Hotel, the world famous Waikiki landmark made famous by the TV show, Hawaii 5-0. This vacation rental has a 3-night minimum.


Parking is FREE (normally $28/day) and there is NO RESORT FEE (normally $18/day)!

You might even spot whales during the December-May whale season!

Three split-air-conditioning units help monitor the temperature throughout the condo to your liking. Laundry facilities are located on each floor.

The Ilikai has a NEW Wading Pool (hours are 8:00am to 4pm) and a heated Main Pool (7:00am - 7:00pm) for your enjoyment!

Waikiki Beach and the Duke Kahanamoku Lagoon (open to the public) are accessible via the exclusive beach access walkway.

Be sure to catch the Ilikai's Tiki Torch lighting ceremony every sunset and free Hawaiian music Fridays & Sundays on the Ilikai courtyard where you can also watch the Friday night fireworks!

There are many great shops and dining establishments right on property and you're an easy walk, trolley or taxi ride to many other exciting shops, restaurants, and entertainment venues! Ala Moana Center and Beach Park are just a 10-15 minute walk away!

Other things to note

Because a previous guest may check out of the condo at 11am the day of your arrival, the only way to guarantee an early check-in (8am or later) is to reserve the condo for an additional day. Likewise, we will do our best to accommodate late check-out requests but as the next guest may check in at 3pm the day of your departure, we cannot guarantee a late check-out unless you reserve the condo for an additional day.

It's a great place. It's fairly centrally located, walking distance to Ala-Moana with fabulous views, it's on the 12th floor. It's a bit of a hike to the main drag of Waikiki, but buses run frequently past the door, or it's a $10 taxi ride. The lifts during the christmas season were packed, sometimes having to wait for a second or third one. It's interior is also top notch, although the beds were very firm and the sofa bed very uncomfortable, I wouldn't recommend it for an adult. The only disappointment is their policy on food, you bring your own and emtpy it out at the end. So you're starting with nothing, a stark contrast to any other AirBnb's we've every stayed at (admittedly not many). Oh, and we were disappointed with Goofy's cafe a couple of doors down, not much kid friendly food there. If you're exhausted I'd go with the Subway or the McDonalds just across the street instead.

Provided with your rental:

• Bed linens, bath, beach & kitchen towels, dishes, silverware, cookware (including tea kettle & rice cooker)
• Beach chairs
• Hair dryer, iron & ironing board
• Several days’ supply of coffee filters, laundry detergent, dish soap, dishwasher soap, bar soap, 2oz shampoo & 2oz conditioner, paper goods (paper towels, tissue, toilet paper), and basic cleaning supplies. Additional sundry and food items are available local markets and grocery stores, for example, Safeway, at 888 Kapahulu Avenue, or Costco at 525 Alakawa Street (between the airport and Waikiki).

Not provided with your rental:

• Beach umbrellas, beach toys, aluminum foil, Zip-Lock baggies, coffee, condiments, seasonings, cooking oil, fabric softener, bleach, and hand lotion.
