Koichi is a legend! He's a world traveler, nature lover, warm person and has some interesting stories. He really created an interesting and different experience for us in the countryside 30 minutes from Takayama. Koichi was easy to communicate with and customized our trip based on our travel plans and our wanting to catch the Autumn festival in Takayama. We really appreciated that he was able to meet us right away at the train station and help with our luggage and provide transportation for us. We loved seeing the waterfall and experiencing the onsen bath too. We were very "go with the flow" and open to a new experience, so this was a nice highlight of our trip!

I am outdoor lover, grew up in Kamakura, historical beach town near Tokyo and traveled around the earth for 4years after working at trade house, which is Japanese unique trading company. On my way backpacking the world, I met earthwalker in Africa and that was the beginning of my entering into second stage of my life, live with nature.

Earthwalker (Paul Coleman from Manchester, England) and I had walked south part of Africa (South Africa, Zimbabwe and Zambia), planted trees at schools, parks and so on. Earthwalker's message is 'Let us stop killing and let us start surviving'.

I do believe this message and it is important to enjoy our nature fully.

Japan has beautiful nature apart from its unique culture.

I would like to introduce Japan's nature to our friends from around the world and I would like to keep on traveling around the world to feel the every nice part of people, culture and nature of this planet as much as possible.

I would like to settle down at the place surrounded by abundant nature, living together with family and friends in sustainable and fun lifestyle.

Here is unique footage from Chile Patagonia, when we lived there for 2years (2011-2013), where Paul and Konomi (Earthwalker) had settled down from 2007.
