Walking distance to Lakeway Marina/ Lakeway Resort, experience the tranquility of embracing the outdoors into your holiday experience. Three bedrooms can accommodate two families of 4 each or up to three couples in a relaxing mid century vibe with vaulted ceilings and an open plan. Every room has a scenic view into the woods where deer frolic and often come up to the house. In addition to fresh sheets and heavenly fluffy towels, enjoy continental breakfast items and other goodies.
Our house has clean white soft sheets and fresh fluffy towels. Our goal is to give you the tree house experience but with a touch of luxury. The wraparound deck is a great place to do yoga (we provide the mats) or do nothing. Sit out on the cushioned love seat with a glass of wine and a book and a warm cozy throw blanket. You can go for a hike in the woods or simply explore the neighborhood. Cliffs that drop into the lake are a few minute walk from the house and you can smell the fresh lake air from the deck.
We love rainy days at the treehouse when we can pull out the portable scrabble game provided. There are also lots of books, current magazines, and movies provided.
The Lakeway Tree House has deadbolt locks and an outside video camera to ensure your security.
You will have access to the entire home. Explore around the property, the green belt behind the house leads down to a cliff dropping into Lake Travis. The home is also walking distance to the Lakeway Marina as well as the Lakeway Resort & Spa, which has a pool with a pool side bar (seasonal), hot tub, and restaurant. They often allow non hotel guests to purchase day passes, but please check with them in advance. In the winter, relax on cozy stuffed cushions by the fireplace on the 2nd floor while watching the deer gather below.

We are really enjoying hosting as we have been guests ourselves and really strive to provide an experience that we would like to have ourselves. It is a much more personal and interesting experience to us than the cookie-cutter hotel experience.
We have traveled extensively and often fantasized about having a small motel of the old Route 66 mid-century variety. Well, it's not an old Route 66 motel, but we do have our tree house in the woods to share and in that respect, it is a realization of our hospitality dream.
We strive to make the home as accommodating and as comfortable as possible, providing a mix of family friendly items, like a variety of books and magazines for adults as well as kid friendly items, like books and games. We hope freshly washed plush towels and fresh good quality sheets on high quality mattresses end your evenings on a good note after a day on the lake and then grilling out on the deck. Cap off dinner at the picnic table while watching the deer gather below by moving to another deck area with a comfy loveseat, a bench and plenty of chairs (seats 8 total) and cushions for you and your guests to have desert and spirits. We also provide mosquito foggers to use prior to your outdoor time on the deck so you can enjoy the evening without being bothered.
Keeping up the maintenance and preparing the house is something we do as a family (our 9 year-old is good at putting on pillow cases, and our college grad helps with cleaning and ideas for improvement). We are excited to go on this journey and respectfully ask that all who decide to come along remember you are guests in our home. We are honored to have you and ask that you treat it as if you are staying with a good friend. We spend a lot of time in the home and hope you will find it as enjoyable as we do!
