My friend and I came to Kamas for a quiet writing retreat, and this wonderful place was perfect. We will definitely be going back!

Beautiful setting - very tranquil, and we really enjoyed eating dinner at the outside table looking out over the fields and mountains. Great location for anyone who wants to explore the high Uintas. Paul and Gail were very friendly and helpful.

A wonderful accommodation with lovely furniture and facility and primary very friendly landlords. It was just the right place for us to have a break on our State Tour. The view to the hills and around horses and cows was so peaceful. All was the best.

Response from Paul:
We do have WiFi, but it is somewhat weak in the grainery building. We will be adding a repeater to boost the signal strength, which should solve the problem.

This place was beautiful. Everything was clean and neat and work properly. Check in was flexible and easy. The Wi-Fi was slow and difficult to stay connected, but we were on vacation and not looking to use Wi-Fi. The farm is beautiful. This restored barn looks great and is very nice. There was water in the fridge and the lights were on. Paul's wife was there to greet us when we arrived. Everything was better than expected. We will definitely go back.

Great little retreat in a rural area! Close to the mountains and recreation. I had two small concerns prior to staying: possible noise, since it's fairly close to the main road in the area, and being to warm to sleep in mid July without AC. Neither of those proved to be a problem. The little house is well built and insulated from noise, so road noise or any other noise wasn't a problem. And even in the July heat, it cooled down plenty at night with the windows open. The place is well kept and what you'd expect from the pictures. There were nice touches, such as bottled water in the refrigerator and maps of the local area and hikes. The wi-fi isn't robust, but is good enough for checking email and other such tasks. Overall, a great place to stay!
