Modern Alaskan cabin on our homestead surrounded by forest. Warm and comfortable with a full bath, kitchenette, and loft. Twin over full sized bunk bed. Access to space for larger vehicles. Only minutes from downtown (URL HIDDEN) and world-famous Kenai River.

The space

Modern cabin with vaulted ceiling and a loft, a cozy living/sleeping/dining area, a bathroom with a full-sized tub and shower, and a small exterior deck.

Guest access

The entire cabin is available for your private use. Share the yard, driveway, and nearby forest with us.

Interaction with guests

We will be available to answer any questions that you may have in person or via the messaging system unless we are at work. We are family friendly with children living on the property.

Other things to note

There are plenty of moose trails on the property. There are wildflowers and berries on the property depending on the season. Within easy driving distance of Cook Inlet and the Kenai River. The water heater for the cabin is small, so space out hot water activities.

Janelle's cabin is quaint, quiet, and secluded. Very comfortable stay.

The Serenity Cabin was exactly as described and was exactly what we needed for a place to stay during a weekend fishing getaway to the Kenai. The location is a short drive away from (URL HIDDEN) and the cabin itself is very nice and comfortable! I'll definitely see if it's available again on our next trip down and I recommend it to folks looking for a cozy place to catch some rest after a long day on the river!

We arrived very late for our stay at Serenity, but Janelle gave us very good directions to find her place in the dark. Perfect little cute cabin to lay our heads for the night. Was very impressed with the cleanliness and everything was very thoughtfully laid out. The location was close off the Sterling Hwy which you can hear from outside of the cabin, but very quiet from inside. The cabin is right outside of their house but didn't bother us for our short stay. Thank you for hosting us!

Serenity cabin was a great place to get away. I wish I had been able.to stay longer. Has a great secluded feel but isn't super far from the amenities available in (URL HIDDEN) Janelle and her family were super friendly and I will absolute keep Serenity Cabin on my list of options when traveling down the Kenai penninsula in the future
