Jessica and her family were cheerful, communicative and friendly. Because they had a puppy somone was around in the house and it was easy to communicate in person such as in the morning before we took off for directions. It is a calm area to live in, and if you want discover a nabourhoood outside of Manhattan it quite nice. We appreciated the well sorted food store just around the corner. And the 15 min walk (if you prefer not to take the bus) to the subway was very OK considering the price difference with staying on Manhattan. We highly recommend! If you have a bad back maybe the pull out sofa is not so convenient. But the bed on the lower floor is good for sensitive backs. And the lower level room is perfect in the summer since it is cool even when hot outside:) We would go back again:)

Myself and 4 friends came over from Australia and had a great time staying with Jessica. The check in was smooth and the outdoor area is great for afew drinks before heading out. The subway was about a 15 min walk and the neighborhood is nice and felt safe. We walked home at night time almost every night. Perfect for friends traveling in a group.

Just great !!! We needed a place to stay for 2 nights after a month trip in the US and before our flight back home. We booked this location in the last minute, after getting frustrated not finding anything for 5 persons in or near Manhatten within a reasonable price. This place was perfect for us. Jessica welcomed us with ice tea and cookies and showed us the place. She provided us info for everything we needed (restaurants, shopping, traveling directions ...). I also followed her suggestion to use Uber getting in from the airport. We asked for late checkout and she allowed it and saved us from carrying lots of luggage through town. I will be happy to stay there again and recommend it to others. Ran

I work to travel! My husband and I work in finance in NYC and live in Brooklyn. Whenever we have free time, we try to leave the country! We've been to 30 countries together and hope to see 30 more. We enjoy living like a local when we travel!
