We are in a quiet location that provides easy access to downtown, the coast, and the City Park, which offers public tennis and a swimming pool. If you are interested in renting just one room or in a stay of a week or more, please ask me about rates.

The space

My home has an open living space with a well-equipped kitchen and peek-a-boo water views. One bedroom has a queen bed; the other has a double futon--I am sorry one of the photos is currently out-of-date. The bathroom has a tub, and there's a washer/dryer, dishwasher, flat-screen TV, and wifi. Everything is on one floor.

You could walk to the bay at the end of the road; or to City Park, which has a public pool, tennis courts, a snack bar, and a playground; or to town; which has great art galleries, restaurants, and a brewery, as well as free live concerts on Thursday nights and art walks on Fridays. We also have five bookstores in town and eclectic shops, including a great cheese shop, a Green Store, and antiques.

Beautiful hiking, kayaking, paddle boarding, and beach combing are all near by.

Guest access

You will have access to the entire house except for one room that I use for storage. I only rent my place when I am away, so you will have the space to yourself.

A comfortable house in a quiet Belfast neighborhood. Close to town which is very walkable. Close to the shore, and very scenic. Convenient to Rt 1 and Rt 3. The house is well provisioned. We enjoyed our stay in Belfast and Stephanie's home.

We had a very relaxing stay at Stephanie's cozy, homey place. Lots of board games, a hammock, and a fully equipped kitchen. Belfast has a lot to offer in terms of shopping and nice walks as well, and the house is practically next to a rocky beach and free community pool and playground.

Stephanie is a very nice person. Her communication was very clear, and she was accommodating. The neighborhood is safe and quiet. The access to the beach is great! The proximity to town is great, too! The price of the listing seemed high, as the bedroom (we needed only one of them) was very small, and the house was not as clean as we would expect.

We had a delightful stay at Stepahnie's home. Felt like I was staying at a friend's house. Stephanie was accommodating and responsive with little glitches that arose. Home is in Belfast and close to their new Harbor Walk with many interesting places to eat and shop. Younger folks could walk to town, though we're two 60-ish ladies and we drove in. Lots of Maine to explore with an hour or so too.

My friends and I had such an amazing, and truly Maine, experience during our stay at Stephanie's home. We took the very short walk to the beach in the mornings to skip stones and drink coffee while we watched the sailboats head out of the bay, walked around downtown Belfast popping our heads into the incredibly quaint book shops and antique stores, had an amazing lobster dinner while the sun set over the bay, roasted marshmallows over the fire in the yard, and ate more ice cream than any reasonable adult ought to - but we were on vacation, so it was justified. Stephanie was incredibly accommodating and made our top very easy. It was planned quite last minute and she was immediately available to help us with our travel and booking arrangements. The home was comfortable, kitchen well-stocked, and magnets prepared for fridge-side poetry. Highly recommended. Thank you, Stephanie.

Stephanie, was very welcoming and generous; offering use of her hammock, fresh herbs and a firepit! The notes left were very informative, everything was clean and well supplied. She was timely in her replies and helpful and flexible, as far as, getting the keys, etc.

I am a professor of writing at Unity College. I spend most of the summer in NY, where I grew up, catching up with family and friends. I love to cook and socialize, and our small house is well-equipped for both.
