House Rules
No smoking
No parties or events
Check in time is flexible

These are the only rules! They're simple and they are posted on the refrigerator as a reminder
1) No Smoking in the house. Outside is fine. Place all butts in the bucket on the deck.
2) No Cats please! The owner is extremely allergic.
3) We have a sheet for you to cover the sofa with so your dog will be able to enjoy family time. Look under the end tables for the sheets.
4) Please place all garbage in the bags and bins that are provided. If an animal gets in to the garbage and scatters garbage everywhere we will withhold $75.00 from your security deposit. More information posted on the refrigerator.
5) If you bring a pet we ask that you keep a close watch on them and allow them the opportunity to relieve themselves outside as often as possible. If our cleaning crew discovers that a pet has relieved themselves in the house we will withhold all of your security deposit. We would hate to have to ban pets because of the actions of a few. Please Help!
6) The other rule is to have fun if that means being out and about from dawn 'till dusk or if that means just sitting on the deck with a good book, we want you to be in complete comfort and hope this house feels like your home. If you spill something please clean it up.
5) The other rule is...come back and have some more fun!

The house was very secluded and perfect for our group of 10. Plenty of space for everyone and lots of amenities in the house itself. Great views from the deck, nice fire pit outside, and plenty of space outside to play and hike. Steven responded quickly to any and all questions and was always more than helpful with recommendations. I would definitely recommend staying here!

We couldn't have been more pleased with our stay at this rental. The surrounding area is beautiful and the house was large enough to accommodate our entire family. We especially enjoyed all of the decking that surrounded the house which extended the visiting space. I highly recommend this rental!

A group of us were riding the Blue Ridge Parkway on bicycles and this house worked well for us. It had plenty of room and was nice a clean. The driveway is gravel and can be a little tricky to drive up because of the steepness. In conclusion, we recommend this house for large groups who are travel the BRP.

A group of 6 cyclists were up for Tour de Mountains ride in Sparta. We each arrived separately and had plenty of space to park, plenty of security with our bikes (which we left on deck without bother to lock). rocking chairs were a great addition to the deck.. we enjoyed rocking with coffee in the morning and rocking with beer and wine in the evening. Very secluded, serene setting, but quick access to town and parkway. And we were all thrilled to find strong wifi signal so we could review the rides after we got home. Lots of hot water, great water pressure with the pump (I was a little worried about that one). Hot showers are important after a bike ride through the mountains ;-)

We had an absolutely wonderful stay. The house was great, well kept. The surrounding views, quiet and secluded location, and overall atmosphere made our stay incredibly relaxing. Steven had everything laid out perfectly, so we knew how everything should go on arrival as well as departure. He was very accommodating and friendly, a great host. We look forward to our next trip to Serenity.

We were happy to accommodate your group after the "blowout" of hurricane Matthew cancelled your trip to the South Carolina coast. Let us know when you would like to return to the "Serenity" and the North Carolina mountains and we will be happy to accommodate you again.

This home was built to accommodate two golf foursomes. Since we live so far away we have a hard time getting up to NC so we have decided to open our doors to you. We hope you will enjoy the peace and quiet of mountain life as we do and enjoy the deer, turkey and other wildlife as they stroll by the house. We have also seen Bear on a game camera behind the house.

We have our family gatherings at this house as we are all spread out throughout the southeast. This house is large enough for us all to get together and we fill it up too. We get out the air mattresses and as I mentioned, we have even pitched tents on the deck to accommodate everyone. I go bicycle riding and running on the Parkway. Some of us go hiking, kayaking, golfing and antiquing, and we all love wine tasting and cocktail hour on the deck with a good corn hole contest. We love the house so much we couldn't keep from inviting you to enjoy it too.

The photo you see is actually my son and nephew at a waterfall at Rich Mountain Creek below the house in Stone Mountain State Park. The house is surrounded by the Park. If you are in good physical condition and an excellent hiker you can hike down too.

Steve
