What a great find...A perfect little hold up to find your way around the Verdon Gorge. The wonderful advice we received really helped - our original plans for an adrenaline fuelled weekend had to be altered due to me being now 6 months pregnant and local info on where and what we could still do was invaluable! For instance biking the 25 k round the 'Route de Crete' 6 months pregnant is easy with an electric bike from the wonderful Verdon Ebike - check them out too! Wonderful restaurants and a wonderful host - a great weekend and couldn't fault our hosts.

The cottage was well-equipped and comfortable. We stayed for 5 nights and enjoyed it very much. The hosts are very accommodating and made it easy to find the place and arrange for check-in and check-out time. Highly recommended!

We really enjoyed our three nights in Mathilde and Cyril's studio and meeting them on our final night. It's a compact space but it's perfect for a short stay and is well equipped for basic needs. We found it a perfect base for exploring the incredible Verdon region. The views from the garden alone are spectacular.

We had a really nice stay in Castellane at the WAHO cottage, hosted with Mathilde and her family. The cottage was clean, well appointed, and an easy 10 minute walking distance to the centre of town. It was very quiet and (EMAIL HIDDEN)munication with Mathilde was excellent and everything went very smoothly. It is a small space (one room where most of the room is taken up by the bed), but with a nice adjoining private bathroom. There is a little kitchenette to make a cup of tea/ piece of toast but no other kitchen available (we knew this in advance so it was not a problem at all though). There is an outside space with a nice table and chairs to sit in the blazing French sun! A nice place to spend a few days exploring this friendly little town - thanks!

One of the best AirBnB experiences! The cottage is very, clean and exactly as described. (It's a pity that there's no kitchen though. But we found everything to prepare breakfast or a picnic). The family is very lovely and helpful. They invited us to have some vine, drove us to the bus stop, lent us their bikes and provided all information needed. We felt very welcome. Merci beaucoup!

This logement is perfect for any couple who is looking for some adventure in this beautiful region. We only met Cyril during our three days of staying. He gave us many advice about the region in order to optimize our visit which was very short. Don't hesitate to go to the tourism office of Castellane, his wife works there! The apartment was really, really clean and calm. (A very important detail: the bed is so confortable that it was hard for us to get up in the morning ! :) ) We spent a perfect stay in Castellane!

The Famille Bonneau Perez were wonderfully responsive to every query I had (I was particularly concerned about not being able to find the place, but the GPS coordinates provided were spot on). In particular they were very nice about a last minute change of dates to the reservation. I also appreciated their email to check that I had noted that the accommodation did not have a kitchen. On arrival Cyril gave us a very helpful lowdown on the route we could take to see the Gorges the next day, as well as a recommendation as to where we could eat that evening. The welcome pack which Cyril talked us through saved a trip to the Tourist Office the next morning (as others have noted Mathilde works at the TO). The accommodation is a lovely bright room with a fabulous bathroom with a really great shower. While there is no kitchen there is a kettle, small fridge, selection of teas and instant coffee plus jam & honey with packaged "toast". Given the cold weather during the weekend we stayed, I was relieved that there was an efficient heater in each the bathroom and the bedroom. I'm so pleased to have found Clos Waho for my stay in Castellane. Thanks very much Famille Bonneau Perez!
