I have never felt so comfortable in someone else's home! These hosts were so NICE and accommodating! It was a HOT day in Eugene, and every effort was made to make sure I was comfortable. Everything was clean and lovely. I highly recommend!

We were warmly greeted the evening we arrived - Phil even hauled our heavy suitcase in. Jerrold and Phil are very gracious hosts. They gave of lots of helpful information about the city and made us feel at home. Phil also made a killer breakfast! Would definitely recommend a stay there!

Great stay! The hosts did everything possible to make us welcome and comfortable! Warm welcome, glass of wine, amazing homemade granola and good coffee were all a part of our experience. They allowed as much privacy as we wanted and gave recommendations for good eats!!! We look forward to our next visit in Eugene and highly recommend !!

The home was better than described. We immediately felt welcome. Jerrold warmly greeted us and showed us the home and the room we would be staying in. Jerrold helped us get to the football stadium by driving us to the bus stop and picking us up later after the game. This worked perfectly. Breakfast was delicious, they invited our son, a local student to join us which was very kind. We met Phil that morning at breakfast and he too was a splendid host. We will return to stay here again, and this being our first Air B & B experience we were very impressed. Thank you Jerrold and Phil!

Phil and Gerald are the (URL HIDDEN) The hospitality and friendliness is top notch- the best I've experienced via AirBnB. The accommodations were also creme de la creme (1200 thread count on the sheets. I had to ask bc they were so comfy!). Their turn-of-the-century house is elegantly restored and decorated with glass, art, and wood, punctuated with the giant veggie/herb garden out back and Spike the tortoise in the side yard. The bedroom is cozy, private, and newly remodeled - (i.e., well worth the $). We all ended up have a fantastic breakfast with each other and then took a trip to the farmer's market in the morning and had some craft beer to wash down the buckwheat pancakes and grass fed sausage that Phil made for breakfast. I don't know if they'll be able or willing to do this for everybody, but hopefully this gives you an idea of the type of dudes they are and the quality of the accommodations. Highly recommended!

Phil User ProfilePhil is a superhost.

Myself and Jerrold are a couple that have the privilege to live in this 1910 Craftsman home, located in beautiful Eugene. We love the area because it offers a quiet neighborhood, walking distance to many restaurants, craft breweries, and all that downtown has to offer. We both enjoy gardening, good wine and food, close friends and traveling. We have a pet tortoise named Spike and are both animal lovers.
