A very comfortable stop for our family of 5 between the Tetons and Chicago. We enjoyed the fire pit and provided fire wood. This place looks nicer in person than the pictures! Close to all Black Hills attractions.

This place was perfect for our needs! We had 3 adults and 2 kiddos and had plenty of space! The kids loved it as did the adults! We cooked 3 meals there and had everything we needed. The place was decorated beautifully and had plenty of towels, bedding, dishes, fans. Honestly I wish I could move in there permanently! We also had a fire outside and roasted marshmallows two nights as well as cooked burgers on the grill that was on our deck, complete with charcoal and starter fluid!

Wow. Our experience with this property and cabin exceeded all of our expectations. To begin with, the hosts are the friendliest people you'll ever meet. They have the cutest dogs and the funniest cat that roam the property. Upon our arrival, there were small details throughout the cabin that shows they care about their guests. As previously mentioned, there were amazing cookies waiting for us on the table. So good! Of course as any curious person, we went through cabinets to find more resources to help with our stay. The kitchen was fully stocked with supplies to cook. The bathroom had extra shower items. There is even charcoal and wood to BBQ and to have a campfire. There were 5-6 of us staying and there was plenty of room for all of us. You'll see deer and wild turkey walking around too. It's a perfect getaway experience. Love love love this place, and recommend it to anyone and everyone! Thanks again Beth, and Kris!

We had a great stay in this cabin! Four of us slept comfortably - there are three queen beds and a love seat but plenty of room for an air mattress downstairs if needed. When we arrived there were freshly baked cookies for us AND Beth's husband helped shovel us out after getting stuck in their driveway. If you're in the area, can't recommend enough! Close to Crazy Horse monument. Not a ton of restaurants/bars nearby in the winter - but definitely more active place in the summer! Will definitely be back!

We had a nice stay a the Elk Haven Cabins. The cabins are definitely small; perhaps a bit too small for our young family of rambunctious boys, but it was fine for the two nights we stayed there. Beth and Kris made us feel welcome and even had cookies waiting for us. We did not need them for anything but felt that they were accessible if we did. The area is quiet and tucked away. We enjoyed seeing deer and wild turkeys each morning.
