Really great location. Great facilities, including some old favourites in the dvd library. Stylishly decorated, warm, good bathrooms and plumbing, and a welcome bottle of vino. What’s not to like.

Great old cottage in the centre of Orford. We really enjoyed the stay with our twin babies. There's a nice garden behind and the glasses in kitchen is a real pleasure.

Location of the cottage is perfect, really central, near the wonderfully Pump St bakery, the church, the castle, easy walk to quay for crabbing and the lovely pubs. Cottage is really well appointed, clean and tidy. 2 nice size bedrooms upstairs, 1 single downstairs, 2 bathrooms, 1 downstairs loo, lovely sunny kitchen. ideal for our family, 2+2+ dog Front door opens directly onto the road, so be careful with young children, and the garden is not connected directly to the back of the house, it's across a shared drive, but it's long an very sunny

Airy and atmospheric Victorian cottage in a perfect place for exploring the Suffolk coast. The Ness at Orford is otherwordly and the castle magnificent. The cottage is beautifully decorated and the appliances are superb. Very very highly recommended. We hope to return soon :)

Lovely cosy cottage. Well equipped and quality furnishings. Easy walking distance to amenities and lots of great walks from the door. Nicely enclosed garden - although it is across the small parking area so small children & dogs would need supervision to it. Orford is a lovely village - close to lots of things to do but without the commercial activity of the larger seaside places. We could have stayed much longer and will definitely be back.

I come from Woodbridge and my family still live in the area around Orford.
I escape to the Suffolk coast when ever possible and am particularly drawn to the River Ore, the boats, its bird life and working quay.
The village of Orford has a unique quality. The people and pubs are friendly and there are wonderful walks on the surrounding area. My husband particularly loves the fact that Orford has become quite the place for foodies with the range of fish, high quality meat, artisan bread and home made produce available!
