Our house is a very old typical cave house ,cave houses are digged in the lava of the volcano. and are at the edge of the cliff .
It is in the oldest neighborhood of Oia next to the castle the best spot to watch the sunset .We are in the centre of all the activities shops restaurants s.markets of the busiest pedestrian road, at the same time going 35 steps down our guests drop in another century finding in our veranda the absolute calmness of a Greek island.

The space

Three separated houses with a shared veranda along however with discreet privacy as it is designed with a lot of respect to privacy matters.

House 1: 34,86m(URL HIDDEN) veranda 31,71m2
One double bedroom with a lot of storage space, one bathroom, one living room which could host comfortably two more people, by opening the two futon couches turning them into two extra single beds and a fully equipped kitchen,WiFi and fans.
And of course the hot spot of the house is the super privileged terrace with 180 degrees view of caldera, the whole Sandorini island, the volcano and Thirasia island on your right.
Free your eyes in the deep blue, chill in the terrace with meals and breakfast which you can cook in our fully equipped kitchen and save money from eating out every day. Enjoy some drinks at night in the most peaceful neighbourhood of Oia Sadorini. When the moon comes out this terrace is the best place to be and later on the stars seem like a dome above your head.
We have tried to keep the tradition of the cave houses and interfere as less as possible with the natural form so there is no separation of rooms in order to get advantage of the light in the whole house. The architecture is cleverly done preventing the privacy in each room.

Guest access

You arrive in Santorini either by boat to the port of Athinios or to the airport by plane.
In both cases you need to use a bus or a taxi towards Oia.
Please Note that you need to walk down the beautiful caldera which is approximately 36 steps from the main pedestrian path of Oia.

Andromahi's apartment is amazing! You will be secluded from the crowds with an unbelievable view of the caldera. The shared balcony is great because we were able to meet our neighbors and chat about the places we've been and what to do on the island. Proton grocery is very close and the spot where taxis pick you up is a two minute walk, so VERY short walking distance with our bags. Would love to stay again!

View from Andromahi’s place can’t be beat. Although you share the front area, we never saw anyone else and it’s very secluded. Close to everything you want to see in Oia. There are some steps to get to the house, but Andromahi had someone waiting to bring our bags to the house. She was very responsive throughout the entire process and gave some great recommendations on where to eat. Would recommend to anyone visiting Santorini!

Pros: Most amazing view you can ever ask for with a great terrace and tons of windows to watch it from Great location Host gives great tips and helps setup rides to and from the airport Cons: No air condition (the fans are enough once you start running them because it is not humid and there is a breeze) Terrace and patio furniture is shared with 2 other neighbors Overall worth it for the view!

Andromahi's place was amazing! The views were beautiful and the home was spacious with an open floor plan. Very clear communication. Everything was a breeze. The previous reviews are all accurate! Stay here when you visit Oia.

Fantastic host, unit and view! Cannot be beat while easy to find and get to. Very quiet at night (can be a bit warm but not terrible)! I would recommend anyone to stay here in the heart of Oia for beautiful views of the sunrise and Caldera.

This is a lovely place to stay in Santorini. Andromahi gave us detailed directions and a video on how to find her house, and we had no problems. As the centre is pedestrianised you need to carry your bags for a few minutes along cobbled streets and some stone stairways - this would be the same for many locations in Santorini. The location is superb - it is right in the centre of Oia, walking distance to restaurants, bars, shops. Although the streets of Oia can get extremely busy with many tourists, the terrace at the front of the apartment was always peaceful, with a fantastic view. You don't have a direct view of the sunset but it is a spectacular view nonetheless. The terrace is shared with the 2 neighbouring apartments but you still have a reasonably private feel. There is no air conditioning so it can get warm, but there are two fans in the house which help to keep the temperature comfortable. We had a regular supply of fresh towels, and frequent tips and correspondance from Andromahi to make sure everything was going ok. Would highly recommend this place for a stay in Santorini!
