Our family enjoyed our week long stay here. The bathroom is uniquely designed to be used by a whole family comfortably with its sliding doors that partition it strategically. The apartment was a quiet place to retreat to after a hot hectic day of wedding preparations. One evening we actually watched a deer wander through the back yard.

Overall a great place. Good for kids. The space is a little funky, but functional. The shower is really nice. Be sure to get in contact with the host before you get there, so your check in goes smoother than ours did. There is a grocery, and drug store, about 4 blocks away.

We spent three days in Eugene. The house was very comfortable in a very nice part of the city. We will absolutely recomend Eric's house for other families going to Eigene Torbjorn, Norway

Eric was a great host and communicator! The home is in a beautiful residential location, set in with nature ,close to everything! Really enjoyed walks in the morning and evening time, so peaceful and views are gorgeous! It was a perfect stay for me and my family for my son's graduation from UO. Very roomy home, and a beautiful large bathroom and shower with a gorgeous woods view! Thank you for your bagels, juice and coffee, that welcomed us every morning! Thanks again

Excellent communication prior to and during our visit. The house is located on top of College Hill about 1.5 miles from the center / downtown. Easy bike to downtown but coming back you have to ride up a steep hill. Walking distance from local and chain grocery stores. We also walked to the Whitiaker neighborhood and downtown. The house is divided into two units. Our unit was laid out strangely. It had a large living room with a queen bed on the far side. The couch is awkward, not comfortable and needs to be replaced. The TV sound has some problem but we didnt report it to Eric...not a big deal, I guess. There are windows in the living room but you can't open them. Other widows that you can open didnt have a (URL HIDDEN) we didnt open them because of the bugs and mosquitoes. The AC is good and cold. The kitchen is tiny and is not equipped to cook semi-difficult meals. Also no microwave oven. The bathroom has a new addition with a tub and shower with a large widow facing the backyard / hill. The bedroom is large but the bed was too soft for us....we ended up sleeping on the living room bed. Overall we thought that we paid way too much for the rental.

My family and I were in town for the Eugene marathon. Exactly as described- the bathroom was super spacious and the shower was amazing. Comfortable for 2 adults and 2 children. Super quiet neighborhood and easy access to downtown and the University. Appreciated the small touches like OJ and bagels! All 3 beds were super comfortable. Thanks Eric!

Hello! My name is Eric Myers. Over the last 2 years, my wife Tabitha and I lived in the Retro Flat and have been helping my dad, Brad Myers, in preparing that space to be used as an Air Bnb. We did some minor remodeling, and furnished the space as we would have enjoyed. Now that were moved back into our remodeled house, we are excited to open up the Retro Flat for guests. We hope you enjoy the space!
