Apartment well equipped and as described, perfect for our 4 day stay in Perast. Amazing sea views from the shared terrace and lounge window. Stefania was a great host and she also organised our transfer from Dubrovnik Airport which was very much appreciated. Good location too, with supermarket, restaurants, sea shore and Perast centre only a short stroll away. We also took the bus to Kotor which was very easy and only took about 30 min. Many thanks again Stefania we had a great holiday.

Perast - simply beautiful! We are so glad we decided to stay here. It's the most picturesque village and although busy during the day with tourist groups, they quickly leave and you are left to enjoy this amazing place with a range of cafes and restaurants to choose from. We didn't have the pleasure of meeting Stefana, but her sister, Melissa and extended family were absolutely delightful and made us feel very welcome. It was Melissa's husband's birthday (Sasha) during our stay and they invited us to join the 'party' one evening at the waters edge when they saw us walking home. After that, various family members greeted us enthusiastically during the day, in the village, if they saw us passing - we felt very welcome. Sasha runs Nada Boats (by the Museum) and he kindly took us across to the two beautiful and tiny islands that overlook the village. The islands feature in all Montenegro guides - Our Lady of the Rocks and St George's Island. The apartment is small but was perfect for our needs. Extremely clean and it had everything you could need for a short break, with towels being replaced mid week. However, maybe guests should be told to bring beach towels. A view comes at a cost but the cobbled 130+ steps down to the village from the apartment was not as arduous as expected and we were able to walk off our evening meal! Bed extremely comfy, AC very welcome. We had wall to wall sunshine during our stay in July. We flew in to Dubrovnik, hiring a car with SIXT from the airport. They supplied a Green Card to enable us to cross the border. Although the distance to Perast from Dubrovnik isn't great, be prepared for a long wait of around 2 hours to cross the border and then through customs. Perast is well positioned for various trips and during our stay we visited Kotor Old Town, Lovćen National Park - incredible views driving up to the impressive Njegos Mauseleum, 430+ steps up but with a lovely restaurant to return to at the base of the steps. We also recommend visiting Sveti Stefan, Lipa Cave, and Cetinje and Ostrog Monesteries. There are numerous restaurants to choose from in Perast and it was lovely to wander down the steps from the apartment as the sun was setting. We enjoyed the informality of the new Bocalibre bar (family run) and more expensive meals at Armania & Skolji (try Lamb under the Bell). Don't be tempted to buy the expensive 30euros wine, the cheaper Vranac goes down very easily. The Pirates Bar at the far end of the village is a lovely place to spend a few hours, especially late afternoon and early evening. If you get there early in the day you can hire a double beach bed for 10euros and come and go during the day. We were sorry not to meet you Stefana but had a wonderful time in your apartment and...
