My wife and I chose Cedar's place for its location near our son whom we were visiting. Its a great central location overall with shops and restaurants blocks away on Wilshire Boulevard, and lots of other museums and attractions within easy walk including the Farmers Market/Grove, LA County Museum of Art, La Brea Tar Pits, just to name a few. Cedar advised us that street parking is extremely challenging. We were lucky to secure street parking outside the apartment the day we arrived and left the car parked there for the next three days. We got around quite easily on foot and inexpensive Uber rides. Much more relaxing than driving in LA traffic. The apartment is on a quiet street and we never heard any noise from neighbors. Its essentially a studio but fitted our needs for a clean safe place to bed down. The queen bed was okay with a futon-like mattress but comfortable enough that we could sleep well each night. There is no a/c and it was a bit hot in the day but we got by with the windows open and two fans for a cross breeze. Star of the show was Cedar. She was always quick to respond to calls/texts patiently answering questions and anticipating our needs. I noticed the guest parking permit left in the apartment had expired (street parking is restricted to 2 hours without a permit). Cedar said not to worry and she would get us a new one, I wondered how she would get this done at 4 pm Friday LA rush-hour. Within the hour, Cedar came shooting up on a motorbike with a big smile and permit in hand. A super lady!

Me and my girlfriend had an amazing time at Cedar's place. She is very sweet and goes the extra mile to make sure you are comfortable at your stay. The place is easy to find and she is very easy to get in contact with. From giving us tips for our stay to the complimentary things in the house, Cedar made an extra effort to make sure we had an amazing experience from start to finish. We highly recommend staying at Casa De Martyn if you're looking for a place near Los Angelas.

Cedar's home was simply beautiful. It is honestly a little gem hidden in the center of the town. We really enjoyed the aura of her home along with the privacy making it a perfect place to stay for your get away vacation. I would definitely stay at this home again just for the complimentary ginger peppermint tea Cedar left for us.

This place was amazing. Good communication all the way through, and when I arrived there were all kind of different stuff for me that she had put through. Chocolate, small soap etc. Really loved this place as well, the interior had a cool vibe! Nothing bad about this place!!

This was the first time my friend and I ever used Airbnb and this place did not disappoint! We booked this place for the Kings of Leon concert this past weekend and it was very easy to get around LA. Everything was exactly how it looks and it was very cozy. The pictures don't do it justice. The neighborhood is also a great one, we had no problem with the neighbors and everyone was friendly. Checking in & out was easy and simple. Cedar was always available and goes above and beyond with making your stay a pleasant one. She gives you some complimentary foods and amenities. And while my friend and I got ready for the concert we were watching the new episode of Grey's Anatomy, so that was awesome. Cedar also recommends places to go in LA and where you should go if you want to just tourist around as well as the fastest/easiest routes. Overall, I would absolutely recommend this to first time Airbnb(ers), long time airbnb(ers), any tourists or even locals that just want to get away for a while. This place is very zen & soothing. I really wish I would've stayed for more days though. Thanks for an unforgettable weekend Cedar! Hope to come back soon!

This place is a gem! Cedar was such an amazing hostess. The home was clean and stocked with daily essentials. The location was amazing! We walked over to a great sushi place for lunch and then explored LACMA and the tar pits right after. Thank you Cedar for allowing us to stay at your place. We absolutely loved it!
