The apartment is really spacious for 3 people. It's bright and really pretty. The neighborhood is calm, but you still have 2 conbinis right around the corner. It's also not that far to the station by foot. We really enjoyed staying there.

This was probably the worst night of our (my family's) lives. After taking a 5 hour train from Hiroshima to Tokyo we arrived outside of (what we assumed was) Erika's apartment at 9-10PM. Note that the listing states check-in as 4PM onwards. We only had 1 phone remaining at 3% battery and we were unable to load the check in manual due to no internet connection in this part of town. We called Erika up to ask for the check in code after giving the AirBnB confirmation number etc. Instead of responding adequately, she ridiculed me for not printing the information out and bringing it, and proceeded to hang up the phone (note I had mentioned my low battery to her on the phone, so she knew we needed the code imminently). I called back, to which she hung up multiple times (proof given to AirBnB staff). After the 3rd repeat call she told me she would send me the code via text soon and to stop calling her as "I am being annoying". The phone died. Queue 2 hours of going door-to-door asking to charge a phone at nearly 11 PM at night. When we got the phone charged, it appeared she sent the code 10 minutes after the call, knowing that it would have died in that time. Note also that she knew we were staying with a 12 year old girl as we listed this when we booked the lodging. The code didn't work. It seemed that the building we were outside of was the wrong building. This was because the English address provided goes to the completely wrong address on (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) Maps. Without the Japanese address to hand, queue an extra 3 hours of searching the neighbourhood for the correct location. This also included asking any people for help by knocking on their doors and waking them up. Anyone who's been to Japan will know how faux-pas this is. We finally had help from a man who was initially naked, had to put clothes on and walk around with us and find the place. He remarked that the address is very strange and it took him a lot of searching before he could work out the correct Japanese translation (as there are many for the English address). When we were finally in the apartment, there were 2 beds and 2 folded up ping-pong like tables (in appearance and hardness). The listing states 4 beds and shows pictures of the 2 beds at different angles, falsely giving us the impression they were 2 pictures of 2 different sets of 2 beds. There were no puctures of the 'ping-pong' tables. Regardless, we were not able to open the 'tables' out to make the remaining beds we asked for as the lock mechanism was too strong for our bad backs. Finally, the listing states 4 minutes from Shinjuku. If you put the correct address into Maps, it's actually about 2 hours and 30 minutes by walking, or 20-30 minutes...

The apartment was perfect for what we needed and is as described on the listing. The rooms are clean and simple but with all the amenities you could need. It's close to Nakano station and the Broadway/Sun Plaza. Nakano is really easy to travel around Tokyo from and so was fantastic to get around. Thank you!

Good value and location of the place. I enjoyed being in Nakano and the train station wasn't too far away. Family friendly neighborhood (safe and quiet). Lots of food options and not too far from the popular areas of Tokyo. Pocket wifi were very helpful and didn't have a problem with them. Apartment was clean and the size was good for Japanese standards. I would recommend staying here to friend or family.

Love traveling and meet new people.
I am from Tokyo here so I can help recommend what sights to see and eat.
I can book " Ghibli Museum tickets" "Robot Restaurant"etc.
I hope my guests learn about things, discover things that the average tourist would never experience or know about.
