We have a large homely Irish bungalow professionally designed and decorated. The house sits on a 2 acre garden with full sized tennis court, fairy path, Wendy house and immaculate lawns (with a croquet lawn laid out in the Summer time).
We have 3 double rooms available; o
-One double room is en-suite with shower cubicle
-Two double rooms share a large bathroom with separate shower and bath. The bathroom is in between both of these bedrooms.
There are two large sitting rooms for complete relaxation; one has a TV. One sitting room has a real fire and large southwest facing bay window and access to outdoor decking – a real sun trap when the sun shines and a wonderful place to enjoy the country air.
With a stay in Geashill you can be guaranteed privacy and complete rest. Our beds are very comfortable and we offer a delicious breakfast every morning. You will have full access to the gardens and tennis court.
We have lived in the area for over 20 years and would be happy to give you recommendations for local activities and assist you in arranging these as required. The local area boasts wonderful walking, fishing, horse riding and horse racing, golf and bicycle rides as well as luxurious spa destinations for a quieter pace. We are superbly located for both country and city pursuits, suitable for all interests. For example:
-32 km drive to Dublin city centre (public bus leaves the village every 15 minutes to half an hour)
-18 minute drive to Blanchardstown Shopping Centre
-4km drive to Killeen Castle and golf club (delicious restaurant, wonderful country walk and trail, fishing, host to the Solheim Cup 2012)
-10 minute drive to the historical Hill of Tara, 18 minute drive to Trim castle, 35 minute drive to Newgrange and Slane
-14km to Dunboyne Castle
-20km to Navan
-9km to Fairyhouse racecourse
WE WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIRING A CAR TO FULLY EXPLORE THE AREA.
We would recommend getting around by car to really enjoy what the local area has to offer. We have ample secure parking in front of the house
There is a bus that goes to Dublin city centre every 15 minutes – see link to timetable (website hidden)
There is a bus that goes to Dublin airport to Dunshaughlin (Bus Eireann 109A). You would need to arrange for a taxi or for us to collect you at the bus stop as we are 2.5km from the town.
** A laundry service can be provided for an extra fee**
Please note that we have a friendly little dog called Max.
Please feel free to ask us any questions you may have and we look forward to welcoming you into our home.

We are both very active and outdoorsy. We enjoy golf, walking, gardening and being with friends and family. We enjoy travelling and exploring new areas and tasting different cuisines. We are both involved in different clubs such as book clubs, film clubs as well as sports clubs (tennis and golf) although we do both enjoy putting our feet up.
