My apartment is the second floor of a house, and lands more on the "comfortable/cozy" end of the spectrum. It's within walking distance to some great bars and brunch places (Tower Cafe, Shady Lady, Fox & Goose). My place is probably ideal for guests who want a comfortable place to crash while exploring Sacramento.
Incidentally, the cleaning fee is for laundering the sheets/towels after each guest.
The Room: Super comfy queen sized bed, desk and color printer, full-sized closet, empty bureau
The Kitchen: Granite countertops, island for prepping, cabinets and fridge space. I won't be making meals for guests, but you're welcome to help yourself to snacks and I'm happy to serve iced/hot coffee or tea
The Living Room: Super open and sunny. I have a wall-mounted TV with chromecast (cast Netflix, Hulu, HBO, YouTube from your phone. I have most of them if you'd like).
Extra perks: central a/c and heat, fireplace, easy parking on street (or you can use my garage/driveway while I'm at work), and I'm only an 11 minute drive from the SMF airport
Kitchen and appliances, driveway/garage when I'm at work, bathroom (obviously), living room. Also a dishwasher but I never use it.
I don't have a washer/dryer for laundry, but would be happy to drive you to the laundromat if you really need to do some
Interaction with guests
I'm usually at work until late, so mostly morning and evening during the week. Weekends I admittedly putz around the apartment until late afternoon.
I'm happy to chat with guests, make recommendations, etc. but I totally respect if you are looking for a quiet place to stay and don't mind at all sticking to smiles and social pleasantries ;)
Other things to note
I'm new to this, so I welcome any feedback that will make your stay more enjoyable
- Smoking is fine on the front steps, but not inside.
