Located in the Virginia-Highland neighborhood, this studio apartment is walking distance to the Atlanta Beltline, Piedmont Park, Ponce City Market, Plaza Theatre, Old Fourth Ward, Krog Street Market, Little Five Points, Inman Park, City Winery and many restaurants and shops.
Centered in one of Atlanta's most coveted neighborhoods, this quaint second story studio was built in the 1920’s and has the unique ambiance of just that. Longstanding hardwood floors and early 18th Century cabinets supply a vibrancy that parallels the district. Known for its bungalows and historic homes, the neighborhood is host to many outdoor events and festivals. The studio apartment is located just one block away from the shopping, restaurants, and nightlife offered by the Virginia-Highland strip.
The unit comes equipped with the essentials, including clean towels and bathroom toiletries. A stove, oven, toaster, small blender, and many cooking utensils are available for use, as well as a Keurig coffee-maker (for those who drink coffee). Cable television, wireless internet and a smart TV allows for guests to access email, surf the web, and watch favorite Netflix and Hulu shows. The bed sleeps two people comfortably, but the couch can be used as a crash pad as well. Central heating and air allows for guests to control the temperature of the apartment at all times.
Please be aware that this is a lived in home and that the space is not "hotel perfect". The building was built in the 1920's, therefore the unit is not considered modern. The studio is tidy and clean, but does have some wear and tear from being in existence for almost 100 years. A lot of our guests find this charming, but it's okay if "antiquated" isn't your thing. There are plenty of modern options in the city for you to enjoy!
Free on street parking is available and the Virginia-Highland streets are considered quiet by city standards. That being said, the neighborhood is located in the heart of the city, therefore parking can be limited. Being in this space for 5 years, I've never had to park farther than 1 block away, but sometimes the only available parking is in fact a block away. Welcome to the city!

Interaction with guests
We are available to answer any questions and provide recommendations regarding what-to-do and what-to-see in Atlanta.
Other things to note
Because the studio is located on the second story of a building that sits on a hill, guests are required to walk up a few flights of stairs. This can be difficult with luggage, simply something to consider.
- Because there are multiple units in the apartment building, we ask that you are respectful of the other resident's and their schedules; this means no late night partying within the unit. We ask that noise be brought to a minimum after 9PM.
