Our very private country home nestled on the side of a hill is a wonderful "get away home"! It comfortably fits 6 and is conveniently located 5 minutes to the Catamount Resort. Enjoy this great location within 30 minutes to MA,CT and NY attractions.

The space

The cottage is a modest home away from home. It has a country meets city, vintage meets new feel to it. We are in Egremont close to Catamount Ski Resort and 3 well known dinner restaurants. The rental space is on one level. The sitting area has a wonderful floor to ceiling fireplace. The 3 bedrooms, are no frills, uncluttered furnished with quality linen and will comfortably fit 6 people. The kitchen is spacious, and has a dinning area off from it, seating 6. There is 1 bathroom. There is a washer and dryer. There is cell service.

You will find a collection of books on gardening, art, traveling and cooking for your enjoyment. The house is set on a hill on several acres of land which is surrounded by many more. Here there is an appreciation of all seasons.

Sitting on the side of a hill each window gives a very different view of the property. It is a modest home but also a unique place for solitude or socializing.

Berkshire County is known for its beautiful countryside and its many attractions year round. Among them are The Boston Symphony Orchestra's summer residence, Tanglewood, Jacobs Pillow for dance, Kirpalu for Yoga, Shakespeare & Co for theater, Edith Wharton House, Catamount Ski, Butternut Ski, Norman Rockwell Museum, MoCa Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art, The Clark Gallery and more. A nice quiet location. You can hear the road from some parts of the house, but it is distant enough to be just occasional white noise. The house has a nice layout. It is older and a little shabby, but definitely clean.

We loved Roz's beautiful home! A prime location right off the main road but a secluded driveway so felt very private. Very comfortable beds, clean and renovated, cozy and comfy! Perfect for our weekend.

Roz made us feel most welcomed in Egremont. It was a very hot weekend in the Berkshires and Roz went out of her way to supply us with fans for the bedrooms. Egremont is a beautiful place and our family enjoyed visiting the Bash Bish Falls during our stay. We will definitely be back!

Roz was wonderful and very welcoming. She even left us some delicious bread from a local bakery! The house was very nice, comfortable, and just as pictured. We especially loved the porch; it was a great place to sit with a book or your morning coffee. There is also a great restaurant right down the road and easy access to downtown Great Barrington and Stockbridge, and to hiking trails on Monument Mtn.

A bit camera shy…..but love making a place comfy and cozy for guests and visitors from around the world. Hope you will enjoy your stay with us.
