Rarely does the actual exceed the anticipated. Spacious and well-appointed accommodation. Centrally located to lots of activities. Stunning views to be enjoyed from the multiple outside areas. Wallow in the deep bath, stare at the distant horizon, sink into the comfy couch or cook something yummy in the full kitchen? We did all of these and could not have enjoyed ourselves more. Michelle and her family were gracious hosts. Friendly and helpful yet leaving us with our privacy in their beautiful home. We stayed a week and really did not want to leave. We booked this place at short notice for a two night stop over in Port Macquarie. Took a bit of time for Michele to respond as she was preoccupied painting and fixing up the house, but we managed to keep ourselves busy while we waited. Once we got there we were warmly welcomed and shown around the amazing apartment. A lot of space and a beautiful view of the sea. Very well equipped kitchen. Michele is a very friendly, understanding and helpful host and her son, who we only briefly met, is too. Giving 4 stars as not all basics/essentials were prestocked (toilet roll and sugar) but were quickly provided once requested. Also, clean overall but could do with a slightly deeper clean in some parts. Overall, a great stay and highly recommended!

Our time at Michele's was truly relaxing and memorable. We spent our time watching the whales from the comfort of the verandah and lounge room. The size of the lounge room exudes opulence. The bed is very comfortable. If coffee is important to you, the coffee machine is now a pod machine so if you buy some get ones that are the Woolworths brand. Check to see if the sauna is working if that is also important to you. We loved lying in bed, watching the sun rise of a morning. We did not use the downloaded movies so can't comment on their quality. We were too busy walking along the beach - fantastic because of it's flatness and watching whales. Will look forward to returning for our next holiday in Port Macquarie.

Lovely place, great views. You definitely need a car to get around but to be honest the place is so nice and is right by the beach so you really don’t want to leave. Perfect air bnb especially for couples, the only reason it was a 4 star review was the lack of gas for the barbecue and the pool cleaner was left in the pool all weekend so we couldn’t use either.

Response from Michele:
Hi Gem. Thanks for you review. I am so sorry that the gas in BBQ ran out. I have now made sure there is a fresh bottle for future guests. So sorry you did not use the pool, It is clean and swimmable but we leave the automatic creepy crawly usually always stays in the pool as he is on a timer. This has not effected others in the past but fully understand now and I will make sure I advise the guests in future to let us know if they prefer it out for more vigourous swimming. I will make sure the welcome book is updated to reflect that along with the new Wifi NBN code. Thanks for staying with us.
