My place is good for couples, friends, and solo adventurers. It's a quiet little retreat with all the basics including a full kitchen, HDTV (with Direct TV, HBO, Showtime etc.), the swamp cooler works great for the dry desert conditions, and a pellet stove to stay cozy during the colder weather. Cellphone signs are strong and we have high speed Internet with WIFI!

The space
It's a cozy little miners cabin that has been remodeled and updated on the inside with modern electric appliances and HDTV's. It has a pellet stove to keep you warm on those chilly nights, and a swamp cooler to help keep you cool on those warmer days. Take a rest on the front porch, have a beverage, relax, and let the mellow pace of Randsburg take over. Writers retreat.

Guest access
The cabin is a stand alone cabin and you have exclusive access to the entire cabin. We have not finished the small loft yet, so please refrain from climbing up there. We hope to have it done soon and create a fun & interesting space for extra guests or teens in the future.

Other things to note
There are lot's of off road vehicles in town during some weekends as it is a popular destination for riding. The cabin is far enough of the main street so as not to be impacted if this isn't your thing, yet close enough for a walk up to the main street if you'd like to check it out. At night it's a very quiet scene as most of the off road riders head back to their camps.

Randsburg is an Historic Mining town, also referred to as a "Living Ghost Town". There is a General Store, a couple of Saloons, and other local businesses. Everything but "The Joint" Saloon will usually close up by dark so plan on either, eating early, or bringing food to prepare at the cabin. Sometimes Brad & Carol at The General Store can prepare special meals for you upon request. Give them a call ahead of time. They recently made a Prime Rib dinner for some of our guests. There are still about 40-50 residents who continue to live here on a full time basis. The neighborhood is really very quiet at night. In the day there can be allot going on, but at night, things slow down. Go for a walk, take in the town.

Future Randsburg full time resident, but still digging for gold in other places in the meantime. My interests/hobbies are Dirt Bike riding, Jeep Adventures, exploring the desert and mountains, a little bit of prospecting. I enjoy the beach, bike rides and traveling abroad, but that has a taken a back seat for the time being while raising my little one who just turned 9 years old. I currently live and work in the Los Angeles area of Southern California as a professional chauffeur.
