The hosts were fantastic! The accommodations were clean and the location is great. The accommodations are dated and from the 80’s, but overall great experience.

For the price this was a decent place in a great location for getting to Baxter State Park. It was fairly comfortable and had all the amenities needed for our stay. We did have an issue with an unpleasant odor in the bathroom and spotty WIFI. Dennis was very responsive and helpful in addressing these issues. Dennis was also great at communicating, easy to reach and helpful with suggestions for restaurants and activities in the area.

Response from Parks Edge:
Thanks Karen for letting us know we needed to address a couple of issues. They are being dealt with as we speak. Please come again. Dennis

The place is a private flat with a good kitchen, good bathroom and roomy bedroom. Located in the main street but very quiet though. Only 20 minutes by car to Baxter State Park. It´s a good way to save money as you can cook or have breakfast in the flat. The only downside was the wi-fi signal. Very bad in the flat. They should put an extra router there.

Response from Parks Edge:
Thanks Maya! Glad you enjoyed our Inn. As for the wifi, we already have double routers, one in the front building and one in the back. We do occasionally have to reboot them if there is a problem, as long as guests let me know it is not working properly. Do come visit us again. Dennis

Basic accommodation with a very friendly and helpful host. Excellent proximity to Baxter state park. Some issues with cleanliness (i.e. full of mosquitoes), but hey, you're in the wilderness now.

Response from Parks Edge:
Thanks Lloyd! Sorry about the mosquitoes, but statewide issue in the summer in Maine. Do come back and see us. Dennis
