Katarina and her husband were very helpful and accessible to us during our 4 day stay. Their apartment is beautiful and very well equipped. The view from the balcony was ideal for Croatia's spectacular sunsets. I would definitely recommend their place.

Great little place in Cavtat. Only a short walk down into the town( the hill will keep you fit!) Katarinas husband was there to let us in and was very helpful with everything. He also gave us a lift back to the airport which was a nice touch and is cheaper than the taxis. Bus to Dubrovnik is cheap also and only takes about 25 mins.

Summary: Highly recommend Katarina and her apartment. Everything is as described and as per the photos. No issues. Cavtat as a location is amazing; we are definitely going back! Prior to our stay: Very good and fast communication in advance when discussing the booking, and Katarina managed to hold the dates we wanted whilst the Airbnb website consistently failed to take our booking! (customer services were less than helpful). On arrival: We simply took a cab from the airport (fixed price 120 kn) as Katarina/Husband were not able to pick us up as other reviews suggested. But this was no issue as it wasn’t expected, just a nice to have if it happened. Ironically the taxi driver was a friend of the family, so he rang ahead to let them know we were on our way. As our flight was an early morning arrival, we left our luggage at the apartment whilst her husband drove us down into the Cavtat harbour to help us orientate. He even arranged for the local bar to show the Formula 1 racing for us (which was fantastic). We had a walk around and a quick drink until the apartment was cleaned and ready. He then picked us back up and introduced us to the whole apartment with everything we needed to know. During our stay: The apartment is exactly as the photos show (wine not included), so no idea what the previous reviewer “Anuj” was referring to. Note, the picture of the shower doesn’t show a wall mounting bracket, but it does have one. The shower pressure is great as well! We experienced some fantastic sunsets from the balcony and the view across the small harbour towards the islands and Dubrovnik (and the mountains) is spectacular. The walk down to the town probably takes 10 minutes, and probably double this for the steep walk back up. But nothing too difficult unless you have mobility issues or decide to do this in the midday sun. A local shop has everything you need, with other shops down in the centre as well. Cavtat itself is a lovely place, with plenty of restaurants (and bars) serving a variety of excellent food and local wine. We ate everything from tourist type food (pizza), to Croatian tapas, to fresh fish and seafood platters, to Michelin standard restaurant food. If you stay local with your choice of food and you won’t be disappointed. (note, some places don’t accept credit cards, so ask before you order). Lots of things to see/do locally from taking a water taxi to Dubrovnik (on a quiet day without all the cruise ships!), to secluded beaches, to boat hire and island hopping, to sitting and watching the world go by on a shady bench with an amazing view. On departure: Katarina double checked our departure time and offered a transfer to the airport later that day.

We stayed there for three nights. Location was good but the apartment was quite different as it looks in the pictures. I can write as, not well maintained. Katarina was not there when we arrived. Even we find her bit unfriendly. Dishwasher was full of dishes, floors were dirty. In short we wont recommend it. Sorry
