Great location. It was quiet and clean. Communication was easy and prompt. Our hosts were available whenever we needed them and accommodated our schedule (we arrived very late) gracefully. The apartment was not large but it was plenty for two people and would work for more. It was super clean and stocked with everything we needed. We would highly recommend this location to anyone wanting to see, feel and experience Florence. I could have done without the 4 flight of stairs but, other than walking, it was the only real exercise I got while I was there.

Would highly recommend Federico's place. It was a very nice and clean apartment in a fantastic location. We were quite hot as the air conditioning vent is only in the living room but otherwise really enjoyed our stay.

Great apartment (if up lots of stairs) a stone's throw from the sites and central streets of Florence. Really great to be so close to the river, the Duomo and any shops you could need. The apartment was stylish, clean, comfortable, well-equipped, etc. and made for a good base for the three of us students to see and experience Florence.

It was in a nice quiet part of Florence and a nice walk to the sights. We walked it from the train station (thanks, (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) map!)The stairs to the place is no joke so keep that in mind when packing. Also, it was pretty dark coming down --we never did figure out where the light switch was for coming down the stairs (make sure to ask -- going up is ok as there is switch at the bottom of the steps) . When we got to the flat, it was pretty stuffy and hot since it was not aired out for our visit. The person who met us didn't seem to have checked the place out prior to us coming. Some really basic amenities were missing including dish soap (we had to go to the supermarket to buy our own--not good since I would not want to leave a sink full of dirty dishes! We left some for the next guest to use), cutting knife ( only had one knife and it was serrated--not easy to cut things up!), dish cloths and paper towels ( with no dish cloths or paper towels, couldn't really wipe the counter and table clean--so another addition to the supermarket list of things to buy!) pepper, bath soap (those that were there were left by previous guests even though it was supposed to be in the listing and promised by Federico--add to the supermarket list again! ), no toaster oven as per the listing ( we had to eat our leftover pizza cold). So, couldn't really make an Italian meal at home as stated in the listing. Also, there was a washing machine--but NO laundry detergent! The person who met us said we have to go buy our own. Decided to forgo that ( my shopping list for the supermarket was getting pretty long at this point so just decided to hand wash! Sorry for the next guest since we didn't buy laundry detergent for you!!) There were not enough towels provided. All in all, it was in a good location but little touches and even the basic amenities were lacking. Would look for another place to stay if we come visit Florence again.
