The apartment was as described, comfortable, well equipped and perfect for our needs for a relaxed week in Playa Santiago -- including completely reliable wifi. It's a great location just off the main square with supermarket, cafes, restaurants and the beach right on your doorstep. The town, an old fishing village, really, is friendly, calm and charming, with good, not expensive restaurants -- lots of fresh fish -- a harbour, seafront, and rocky black sand beach. Although the stones on the beach were hard underfoot and made going for a swim a bit more of a challenge than usual, it was worth it, as even in late November it was hot and we needed to cool down. We also rented a car for a few days to explore the beautiful island, including the national park, Garajonay, and the hippyish resort of Valle Gran Rey (where the waves seemed a bit gentler than at P Santiago and where beach sand is much finer underfoot, though still a disconcerting grey!) Lastly we should say that Nancy was extremely welcoming and helpful and she and her husband were even kind enough to drop us to the airport in Tenerife on our way home which was well beyond the call of duty!

Alles da was es braucht, manchmal nicht auf Anhieb zu finden. Hatte sogar einen Tischgrill, Cool. Viele gemütliche Restaurants an der Strandpromenade richtung Hafen.
