Grits apartment is in very nice part of the city. It's only about 200m from U-bahn and S-bahn station, so connection to the city is perfect. Near the station is also a supermarket. In Hermanstraße, the street where the station is, are many coffee shops, bars, restaurants and street food. The apartment is beautiful, big and yet cozy, really clean with everything that i needed. Grit and her husband was really nice and helpful. I would love to stay there again. Thank you!

I really enjoyed staying at Grit's apartment. The flat was beautifully decorated and well organized. Neighbors were friendly and kind. There were nice cafes, restaurants and pubs around. Korner Park was my favorite spot:) I didn't have any problems during my staying.

The stay was very nice for me and my mum. We stayed there for over a month and Grit was very friendly and willing to communicate whenever we need. We love the decoration of the apartment which is cozy and clean. The location is very convenient just next to the metro/train station. There's no elevator in the building so it was a bit inconvenient for us with few large luggage. The wifi wasn't working for two weeks during our stay. It was the supplier's problem but Grit and her very friendly neighbour were very willing to offer help and solve the issue. The wall between the bedroom and the next flat is a little thin, we could always hear people talking next door at night. But the neighbours weren't party people so it was mostly quiet at mid-night. Overall, it was a very pleased stay in Grit's place.

Wonderful stay at Grit's Neukölln apartment! I was here for over 2 months...Very short walk to Hermannstraße stop. Spacious with high ceilings...I actually thought the pictures make it look smaller than it is. The living room and bedroom are pretty spacious. Grit was very responsive to a couple small things that came up, and there's a guy upstairs who can help if something comes up as well. There are many affordable places to eat everywhere nearby, especially Turkish food. Would be comfortable for 1 or 2 people. Shower was nice and tall/adjustable, which is part of why I chose the place as I'm 198cm. Also there's a curtain that adequately keeps water in (this seems to be a common issue in (URL HIDDEN) I and many Americans scratch our heads at, but I think the Germans are much better about providing real confinement than the French or Italians). Tempelhofer Feld is nearby for a lovely walk/picnic...and you can take a tour of the old 3rd Reich era Tempelhof airport where the airlift happened, which is fascinating. The combination of s-Bahn and u-Bahn at the Hermanstraße stop makes the location especially convenient. You can catch many trains at Berlin-Südkreuz 2 stops away, which will save you a bunch of time over going to the Hauptbahnhof (although it's pretty cool so check it out). I'll note that the bathroom is weirdly narrow which is apparent in the photo. It didn't really bother me. Also, it's on the 3rd floor with no elevator, but you'll be walking like crazy in Berlin anyway, so embrace it!

I stayed here for three month and really enjoyed the accommodation. The appartement is located in Neukölln, a nice changing neighborhood, with cafes, bar and restaurant within 5 minutes walk. The proximity to the Ubahn and Sbahn makes it very easy to explore the city. The appartement itself is nice, tidy and clean. It is spacious and modern, the only disadventage are the thin separation wall between the bedroom and the neighbor's appartement. But in its globality, I would recommend this place to my friends. I really enjoyed my time here, Grit is the perfect host and is very accommodating.

The apartment was really nice and well organised, Grit had thought of everything we might need for our stay. Although I didn't meet Grit personally, she kept in touch throughout and answered any questions we had. It was also very close to public transport and had lots of shops and places to eat nearby. I would definitely recommend this apartment if you need somewhere to stay in Berlin!

I love Berlin! The people and the city aswell! I´m always looking for some new places to go and I´m very interested in getting in contact with people. Living in Neukölln means to be right in the middle of the epicentre of a great city! This specific area is so nice to discover! Every day you can find new things coming up. I like to share my experience I´ve made with people who are new in the city.
