With all due respect, what you've written is not totally true nor accurate. My house was cleaned several days prior to your arrival, and after you complained, my property manager sent two cleaners back after you arrived and re-cleaned. They left 3 sets of new Queen size sheets, they replaced and fixed the pool light once they realized it wasn't working (happened from previous guests).
There are no pests, as I have an exterminator out monthly, nor rat droppings (there was some lizard dropping (I know this might be hard to believe, but my exterminator who told me this is common), missed during the cleanup in one of the dresser drawers, as the previous guests left the doors and windows opened, which was cleaned during the second cleaning).
The day before your arrival, I had a carpet cleaner out to deep clean the carpets and the sofas/couches, and as he left the house, he set his cleaning machine in the entrance way, where some liquid was spilt out, and he missed cleaning this. (my apologies you had to clean that up). Also, my maintenance person confirmed the toaster did in fact work, and that there are no broken kitchen drawers.
You even complained to me that there were not enough wash clothes provided, only to email me the next day saying “Please ignore my statement about not enough towels and wash cloths being provided. We are good there. Thanks, Aug 3, 2018”
To my surprise and unbeknownst to me, the dining room table and kitchen table had become scratched. To all future prospective renters, I am in the process of replacing those tables and have gotten some table clothes as suggested, in the meantime.
As far as your scathing comment about me being unprofessional and rude, well that is just simply fallacious.
Please read the other airbnb comments from my previous guests and judge for yourself, and if you happen to find my house on some other vacation sites, you'll see that I have hundreds of 5-star raving reviews from renters, which indicates that your poor review is an outlier.
Lastly, wrt your statement about my place isn't worth the money, I normally charge much higher, as my house warrants it, and I gave you a 50% discount to boot. In all my 15 years of renting this house, what I have found is that the people who pay the least amount for a stay seem to complain the most.
