This amazing house is run by an equally friendly couple who are easy going and share with you the history of their experience of renovating such a place. the down side was the inadequacy & sloppiness of some of the facilities and their attitude towards supplying them. The two worst things for me were the plastic mattress cover and the single bath for all the guests that happen to be there at the time. After sweating through the night there was no way of having a bath because the single bathroom was constantly engaged and then there was limited hot water when finally getting in there. another problem was that there was no hot water at all for a couple of days but Jonathon assured us that this was a fault in the system and would not happen again-he did fix it. Maybe you believe it worth putting up with these faults for the experience of staying at such a grand place? That is your decision. My Partners view : When asking for something to clean the bath with-I asked twice-as there was nothing available, we were told by Jonathan that he usually just used his hand. It was also suggested to us that we share having a bath as there probably wouldn't be enough hot water to go round. Whilst both these solutions may work for their family, as a paying guest I found this totally unacceptable and unprofessional. consequently, the bath stayed dirty for much of our stay. Lastly, the worst thing for me was the disgusting duvet we were given, having discovered it accidentally when we removed the cover through the night to keep cool. There were massive areas of dark brown stains on both sides. To cut back on replacing a dirty duvet given the enormous amount of money spent on this house on the whole, was an insult. There was absolutely no excuse for this other than complacency. I was so appalled I showed another guest who was leaving and who very kindly gave me his. I would not choose to stay here again.

Paige and Johnathon were both available to meet us on arrival. The communication prior to us arriving was also faultless. Their house is beautiful, clean and extremely homely. We were shown around, settled in our room and made to feel very welcome. Nothing was too much trouble and they both went out of their way to make our stay perfect. the accommodation is amazing and more beautiful than the photographs convey. They also have an enormous amount of land surrounding the property and we were free to roam around the amazing space that has countryside views from every aspect. I cannot stress enough how welcoming, accommodating this couple and their family are. Wonderful house, wonderful area with lots to see and do and gorgeous people. You will not regret booking a stay with them.

I had an absolutely amazing stay at the Priory! Couldn't fault it in any way. The host were very welcoming on arrival and showed me which room I was staying in and also gave a tour of the house so I was able to find my way around. My one YO daughter had a blast while here as there was plenty for her to do and plenty of space to run around outside. My bed was comfortable and the room was spacious and exactly as pictured. Myself and my daughter sat with Paige and her other half, Jonathan, for dinner and it was a very pleasant experience, plenty of chit chat and a warm atmosphere to top it off. Overall, not a bad word to say about my little break away! Really happy I chose to stay with such a loving couple and in an amazing home! Thank you Paige & Jonathan for making my break exceed all expectations!
