My place is close to the beach, nightlife, and public transport. You will love it; the unique authentic experience of the Cuban culture that only a local can offer you. No hotel or resort can match the level authenticity you will enjoy in my home. You will no doubt love the high ceilings, the coziness, the comfy bed, the view of the ocean, and the refreshing breeze.. I am extremely satisfied with our stay at Villa Gabriella. Although it is a 25 min drive from old Havana we felt quite comfortable where we stayed as it had a very pleasant and safe neighborhood feel. We had lots of privacy and didn't feel watched over like the previous comment I read. Sra. Nuri was very sweet and attentive to our requests. If you would like breakfast or dinner made, be sure to let the host know in advance as they'll need to prepare prior to your arrival. Breakfast and dinner are $5 CUC per person. Nuri and Jose requested a driver for us as the one we booked failed to deliver on the vehicle. The young man named Erick Falcon Perez drove us around in a beautiful and prestine 55 cherry red Buick classic car with AC and had the best salsa and reggaeton music! Be sure to request this professional driver with Jose and Nuri. I promise you will not be disappointed! Jose made sure we were safe and comfortable at all times. I had a wonderful time in Cuba, I will definitely be back and stay at Villa Gabriella!! Thank you for your kindness and great hospitality!!

We just came back from Cuba, stayed 3 nights at Villa Grabriela and went back for an extra night, we have to say that this place is better than expected. This was our first trip to Cuba, we went for educational purposes and to learn more about the Cuban people and culture and couldn't find a better place. Jose (the security person), picked us up at the airport with Cirilo (the taxi driver) and from that moment we felt at home. Olga (Isabel's sister was our host) she is a very smart lady and well educated. Jose and Olga helped us so much in every way, they treated us like family with a high level of respect. Olga prepared breakfast for us twice and what she has to offer is 10 times better than any restaurant in USA, it was delicious. Our bedroom was ready at the time of arrival and extra clean. The bed is super confortable and spacious, we even had a hammock outside of our room to relax and take a nap while we listened the waves of the ocean. Overall was a great experience, our first time renting a room and couldn't be happier. Thanks so much Isabel for allowing us to stay at your house, we are happy and blessed that we found you and will keep recommending it to all of our friends. Thanks again and hope to come back soon.

The two ladies and gentlemen at the house were constantly right next to us. Always watching everything we did. It was very uncomfortable and I will never stay again. Also, the one evening that I did leave the house, I came home and they had been in my private bedroom. I was so angry that I went to the Police Station to file a complaint. Then, I decided to just let it go and I went and spent the night at a friends house. The people at the house at first were very nice but as the day went on they were constantly looking over our shoulder. I thought maybe, by giving them some clothes that I had brought in two big suitcases that my students donated to give to the Cuban people would be a nice gesture. They actually appreciated it; however, they kept asking for more. I gave them a beer and they even took advantage of that. They drank multiple beers iand multiple things that I brought to put in the refrigerator. I even made the entire family breakfast. I have been to Cuba 13 times and this was the worst experience I have had in the last year since I started going to Cuba regularly!.

When going to Cuba make sure you print out directions to where you're headed or have maps. Most times drivers dont know address and no (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) maps either. Just a heads up
