My place is close to the water, Hampton Park, walking distance to bars and cafes. Plenty of outdoor activities to be involved in. You’ll love my place because of the coziness, the location. My place is good for couples and solo adventurers. Private room with shared bathroom both upstairs.

The space

The house is bright and spacious, all areas are common and you are welcome to make yourself at home.

Guest access

The common areas such as living room and kitchen as well as both bathrooms. Feel free to put groceries in the fridge or anything you would like to store for food in the kitchen.

Interaction with guests

I am happy to suggest day trips, restaurants, excursions, bike rentals and paddle board tours. Also there are maps in the room to help get yourself acquainted to what's happening in the area.

Other things to note

Parking is free and available on the street, space is usually very easy to find right outside.

I enjoy sharing my space with travelers and do so because I travel often myself. Please be mindful when and if there are other guests in the house. When I am here I sometimes work remotely during the day. There are plenty of local coffee shops I can recommend (Park Cafe) to work from if you need to do so during your stay.

Worth it as long as it's the cheapest option you can find, and you don't need fast internet. Next door neighbors seem a little ... methy. I'm sure Jen would be more hospitable to other people, but she was rather rude to me (through text, as she wasnt at the house while I stayed).

Response from Jen:
I'm sorry it seems you didn't enjoy your stay. I was actually a little taken back by your review considering all of our communications during your stay and my attempt to help in any way possible. I was not pleased about the cigarette butts in my plant out front and felt it was appropriate to mention that as my neighbors (who are hard working members of the F&B community and far from "methy") had mentioned it to me. I pride myself on being hospitable but will not let my home or hospitality be taken advantage. The internet is working and available, I work from home when I am there as well as stream movie and television regularly. There are coffee shops in walking distance if the wifi was not to your expectations. I am truly disappointed in this review and your response. I feel like if you had reached out with your concerns in a phone call we could have worked it out.

Jen's home is on a lovely quiet street near all the sites in Charleston. She was also a very helpful host. Would recommend!

Jen answered all my questions quickly. The house was immaculate and the AC was cold. I was in town for taking exams and appreciated the quiet of the house for my studies. Charleston has an incredible amount of restaurants many of them within a short walking distance. I especially enjoyed Leon's for the oysters, and ate lunch at Moe's every chance I got.

Jen's place was a wonderful home away from home while I was in town looking for an apt to relocate here. I recommend renting a bike for easy travel all around the peninsula!

Jen had everything set up for a quick and easy check-in. Parking was available on the street right in front of the house. Very easy to uber/Lyft to restaurants/bars downtown (about a 10-15 minute drive). Would definitely stay here again!

Jen's place is so nice and in a cool neighborhood. Jen was very helpful in getting us checked in and she was also very accommodating when I had to take some business video calls from her house. Can't recommend her place enough !!

I live in Charleston but travel often for work. I am new to this house but have lived in the area for over 4 years now and absolutely have fallen in love with the neighborhood. I enjoy all that Charleston has to offer whether it be paddle boarding at the beach, biking the bridg…
