Our place is close to Palace Akropolis (Music Club) and Prague TV Tower (the highest building in the city). The area is well-known for many small or bigger restaurants, beer pubs, music clubs and other places to enjoy oneself. You’ll love our place because of the ambiance and the closeness to the city center. The studio is good for couples, juniors, seniors and solo adventurers. The closest underground station (Jiriho z Podebrad) is 500m from the place. There are additional tram stops around.

The space

Even though it's the local residential area, the place is still very close to the city centre (20 mins walk).

Guest access

All the place is available at your disposal. A hall, a bathroom, a room with a kitchenette. A single Queen-size bed, table and four chairs. WiFi access to the Internet. Hot water, drinking water from the tap, gas heating. Dishes, cutlery, fridge, washing machine, hair dryer. There is no courtyard, garden or roof accessible. There is a lift in the building.

Interaction with guests

We might be available but not guaranteed. We are off Prague quite often but if you need help, please, do not hesitate to contact us. We will be more than happy to advise you on places to visit or where to eat, drink or dance.

Other things to note

You can eat or drink any food / drinks found in the kitchen or fridge. In case you arrive hungry, there is a small grocery shop just 20 steps from the building (open every day including Sundays / holidays from early morning till late evening). And there is a small cafe just 50 steps from the building.

If you are expecting over-night visitors, please, let us know in advance. It's allowed to have friends there, still, we would like to know.
Do not wash the bed sheets or towels when you are leaving the place. If you do, we will wash it anyway as we must be sure it's prepared well for the next guests.
Please, close the windows and lock the door when you are leaving the place. Prague is rather a safe city but it's normal to lock the door. Also, the weather can change in Summer quite quickly and it can shower heavily; it's better to have windows closed.

Very nice appartment to stay some days in Prague. Not far away from the city center and very good connection by public transport. Petr and Petra were always helpful and nice.

Worked out excellently for my 4 nights in Prague. Washing machine was a lifesaver. Big studio layout. 5 minute walk to the Metro A line so it costs a measly 24 crowns to get to Old Town or beyond. Great restaurants all around too. I liked U Sadu for food, beer selection and the basement bar gets rowdy. Also liked Peters Apartment cafe for food and coffee. By the Metro I also got some great food at a market they had set up. Beer geeks is also over there if you want to get your craft beer on.

Great accommodation, clean, spacious and walking distance to the metro. Didn't get to meet Petr but was very easy to communicate with.

Petr's place is as described- it is clean, quieter than right in the city center, but easily walkable to downtown. If you don't mind a 20 or so minute walk, the location is very walkable. Otherwise, public transportation is very close! There are restaurants right nearby, and a lovely coffee shop right on the corner of the street. Petr and his wife Petra were both very kind and communicative. We would definitely recommend staying with them!

As somebody who lived in Prague for several years, this is my absolute favorite part of the city to stay in: a lovely neighborhood with easy access to the historical parts of the city but that lies safely outside the Old Town Square and its Disneyland-level craziness. It's also the only part of Prague in my opinion where there is a pleasant sense of energy that is not derived from tourism (other neighborhoods tend to be either jammed with tourists or hauntingly empty). Other than that, Petr's flat was just as expected: clean, comfortable, easy check-in, positive overall experience.

We are a family of three small kids (all boys!); we have always wanted to live in the city to enjoy the bouncing life around. We have purchased a small studio next to our apartment which we do not use as our sons are still too young. The studio is now available in Airbnb in a walkable distance to the City Centre (20 mins).
Before our kids were born we were traveling a lot especially in South East Asia but also around Europe. With kids we are staying rather at home or travelling to our dacha for weekends.
