Karen was a fantastic host and has setup the second floor of her home to fully accommodate guests. The room we stayed in was very large with a beautiful skylight and plenty of closet space. The cookie, tea and coffee bar set up outside of the room was perfect and very handy as it was complete with local maps and insider tips on tourist locations and information. She even drove us to several starting points, helped us to rent bicycles (and store them overnight), make dinner reservations, and made us breakfast. On top of all of that the house was beautiful and comfortable and in a very convenient location to see all that Portrush has to offer.

Karen was a very helpful host, her home is set in a lovely quite estate close to all local amenities within the area, she was very helpful with ideas for things to do/places to see in the local area and places to eat etc. We would stay here again if in the area in the future. Thanks for a wonderfully stay Karen.

We had a very comfortable stay in Karen's home. She provided us with a key to her home and one for our room, which was very reassuring since we were not her only guests. We stayed in an upstairs room and there was a table with tea, coffee, biscuits and brochures with local tourist information on the landing. What a nice touch!

What a lovely experience! Karen was gracious, warm and hospitable. Her home eas centrally located and she eas great with recommendations for spots. My favorite part of it all was sitting around her kitchen table for tea and then a lovely breakfast, talking about culture, travel, politics and food. My 11 and 13 year old and I are here from the states and what better way to get familiar with a culture than to sit and chat. I would stay here in a heartbeat, again. It will stand out in mind as a highlight of my trip.

I love meeting people, making them feel at home and sharing my love of the North coast. I'm passionate about music, dance, art, architecture, film, tai chi, walking, growing vegetables and cooking healthy food. When I travel in Europe I like to sight see and explore the culture and food of the area. My dream is to live an eco friendly life, conserving natural resources and contributing to a sustainable community.
