The space

"The villa is situated at the center of an estate of about 3 hectares on a hill from which you can admire a 360 ° panorama that spans three regions (Tuscany, Umbria and Lazio) in a natural and very quiet environment. The structure was built according to the criteria of Bio architecture, is equipped with large windows and has plenty of space( 240 sqm., on one floor) furnished in natural wood. It consists of 5 bedrooms (of which 4 with private bathroom inside the room and one with a bath outside the room), the living room of 80 sqm with a dining area, the kitchen large and well organized, the entrance hall with library and a bar area.
The house is surrounded by a garden of 2000 square meters, with pergola and barbecue. The swimming pool is separated from the garden and is accessed by a little gate. It consists of a larger pool 9m x 4,5 m and a smaller one of 2.5 x 1.5 suitable for children.
The villa is located at only 10 km from the SPA of San Casciano dei Bagni and at the border of the Natural Reserve of Monte Rufeno. In 30-40 minutes one can reach places such as Montalcino, Pienza, Bagno Vignoni, Orvieto, Città della Pieve, Lake Bolsena where you can rent boats of various types and in 30 minutes too the Monte Amiata where you can visit the Wildlife Park and observe many species of animals living in in an almost naturalconditions. "
In the village of Trevinano, 2.5 Km from the villa, there are three good places where you can eat, "Gianfranco" renowned family-run trattoria, "La Lanterna" pizzeria of excellent quality and "La Parolina" sophisticated restaurant with one Michelin star.
In San Casciano dei Bagni (10 Km) there are craft shops, wineries and two excellent restaurants "Daniela" and “La Fontanella". In Acquapendente (14 Km), one can buy various local products: meat of Chianina cows raised on pasture to" Poder Riccio ", wines, jams, legumes, cereals and oil to “Il Cerqueto", cheese by Pienza to" Coperativa Val D 'Orcia ".

If you love the Tuscan landscape with his great panoramic views, you must come to this fantastic place. Marco and Patrizia welcomed us warmly and gave us usefull suggestions. Ask them for an italian cooking class or wine tasting. You won't be disappointed.

We have just had a fantastic week in Marco's villa and the views are absolutely spectacular! It is a fantastic area to stay in as it is close to Tuscany but without being very touristy - there was plenty to do! Our children loved the big garden and spent lots of time exploring and building dens! The villa is very comfortable and incredibly spacious - we will definitely consider coming back!

Great panoramic views, great villa with lots of space, many silent rooms, barbeque etc. Large and clean pool with great view. Everything was precisely as described. Marco was very hospitable and good host, and he responded very promptly to all our questions. We really enjoyed our one week family-stay at the villa and had a relaxing holiday trip. Also many places to see and visit within the beautiful Tuscany area. Recommend!

Staying at Marco place was extraordinary experience. It started from bumpy narrow road which leaded throug the forest, to throw us on amazing hill where the villa is situated. From the top you can admire view of Lazium, Umbria and Tuscany, and it is breathtaking. The villa is very cosy, well adapted, clean and fresh. It has everything you need for comfort stay. You can eat brekfast outside, at great porch, swim in pool, or lay and rest at the hammock. Outside the villa you can find great places for walking and running. It is situated in convinient localisation between Rome and Florence, closeby you can visit a lot of small towns with great monuments such as Orvieto, Civita di Bagnoregio or chill in Roman Therms in San Casciano dei Bagni. 2 km from villa there is town of Trevinano with one of the best Italian restaurants we ever dine, Family Trattoria Gianfranco, where you can try home made, granny style, italian cuisine(home made pasta, traditional superb pizza)! Marco and his wife are very helpfull hosts, being there whenever we needed them. They helped us in arranging our stay and all other activities, such us wine tasting tours, cooking classes. We can highly reccomend this villa for every visitor.

My family and I rented Marco's wonderful villa for approximately a week and we all wish we could have stayed longer. First, the house in itself is awesome: clean, well designed, ideally placed on the top of a hill offering a fantastic view of the region. Sunrise and sunset offer a stunning spectacle every day, whether you are in the kitchen or in the living room. The villa is eco-efficient, the internet connection is good, the rooms are wide and all with their own individual bathroom, everything was perfect. Second, Marco is a wonderful and attentive host; very discreet, always available to answer our questions and requests, he greatly helped making our stay at the Villa the highlight of our trip to Italy. Thanks Marco, I wish our paths cross again someday.
