You've found the ultimate vacation spot! Ty's place is easily the most beautiful place me and my fiancé have ever seen, with the rest of the island of St. Croix being just as spectacular! The property is breathtaking to say the least, and the people make the experience!! You can mingle with other guests staying on the Grove, or go explore the property or the island. There is an infinite amount of activities even if you choose to not leave the Grove while on St Croix you will NOT be missing out! We will be coming back the first chance we get.

This place is truly a one of a kind treasure. I almost don't want to say how awesome it was because I don't want the word to get out. I would love to keep this little gem for myself so that next time I am on island that I could stay there again. It is truly a unique experience and really fun getting to stay in a piece of St Croix history. Ty is an amazing host and was super helpful. He is really laid back and full of knowledge about the area. The sugar mill itself is beyond incredible. The interior is beautifully decorated and the bathroom in the little alcove upstairs is really cool! Even though we were staying there for a few days, Ty welcomed us into his little community as if we were members. I can't wait to come back to St Croix so that I can experience this magical place again!

Our stay here was beyond fantastic! The roads to the property can be a little disconcerting to first time visitors to St Croix (all roads in St Croix are a little disconcerting, to be honest), but the property has unparalleled views of the foliage, and is mere minutes from beaches and restaurants. The amenities are rustic - but the overall welcoming feel of Ty and his staff/family make you feel like a guest, not a customer. My highest possible recommendation!

After a week in/near Christiansted, my 4 days here were FANTASTIC! It was just what I needed, quiet in the rain forest, had my own space, but could interact with staff and guests as we prepared meals in the communal kitchen (which has everything you might want). The two-level suite in the tower was very comfortable. Very friendly hosts (and dogs).
