This is basically a hotel that listed on Airbnb (rather than a room in someone's house). It was fine. The room was a little dingy (worn & slightly dusty), the sink in the bathroom clogged, & the room is street level right next to all the traffic, street noise, & if you open the windows pedestrians can look you directly in the eye. The pros: the staff was very kind and helpful in pointing us to the bus stops & recommending places to eat. It is one block away from a central bus stop. All in all, for the price, the value was just "ok."

Really nice place! A lovely 25 minute walk from the city center, a grocery store just across the road and the Guest House itself is very comfortable and relaxing. The hosts were lovely and welcomed us and gave us city recommendations. The shared kitchen worked out well with a beautiful outside terrace. Easy to find!

We definitely enjoyed our stay ay L'Aranceto Guest House. The only downfall is that there is no air conditioning, this is definitely something that should be considered when booking during summer.

The description is accurate, the room and bathroom was nice and clean. Mario was such a friendly and helpful host. He helped us to find great value parking where we could leave the car off the street for 10euros. It took us 20 minutes to walk straight into the historic centre of Florence, which we didn't mind, Mario also let us know about all the local transport we could take, local shops etc. His best recommendation was to try the indoor street food market on the first floor of the covered market in the centre, which we did (twice!) - it's got fantastic authentic choices at a good value prices. Don't miss it. The only thing I'd say is that it does feel a bit like a hostel, not that this is a bad thing. But we were woken very early by neighbouring guests. The house rules do state that guests should maintain a considerate silence between 10 - 8 or somethings... but what can you do.

The guest house is almost more like a hostel than a regular airbnb. There are multiple rooms and a shared kitchen which was nice to have. The bathroom is not ensuite but you get your own key to lock it, which was nice. The room itself was clean and comfortable. It's walkable to the city though it is about 25 minutes.
