-BOOKING to end of OCT 2017- 2 bdrm cottage located in the hamlet of Delta, ON. Close to all amenities- within a 5 minute walk to the grocery store! You’ll love the property because of its cleanliness, the north-shore waterfront (some weeds), the large, well-maintained yard, and the top-notch bass and pike fishing on quiet Upper Beverley Lake. Couples, adventurers, fishermen, business travelers, and families on vacation (with kids) are welcome. Rideau lake system, Charleston, and others nearby.

The space

The property totals 2.5 acres, the lakeside portion being a large mowed lawn with fire pit between the cottage and the lake. There is also a dock for mooring your boat. On the opposite side of the access road is a woodlot for those wishing to take a stroll in the forest. The cottage itself features a 3 sided, wrap-around deck, with an eating area and BBQ on the east end and an outdoor shower (west end) that has access to the master bedroom.
Many renovations and upgrades have occurred over the past 5 years and the property is very well maintained.

Guest access

Guests have full access to the building and property.
Please make yourself at home and don't hesitate to look for household items in cupboards, drawers, and cabinets.

Interaction with guests

I will be reachable via phone or email. My parents, who live nearby on the same lake, can also offer assistance as necessary.
I also feel it very important to maintain great relationships with each of my neighbours (4 homes on the road)… I expect that all users of the property do not jeopardize that good will and respect.

Other things to note

1. Please note that prices listed on AirBnB are for 2 adult occupancy only. An extra fee will be added by AirBnB for every additional adult beyond 3 . There are no extra occupancy fees for children, retirees, or students.

Lovely well maintained and nicely furnished cottage on large plot with open and extensive waterfront. Large deck with tables, shade trees and comfy patio chairs made relaxing outside easy and pleasurable, but not possible to swim as lake has weeds. Well equipped kitchen and comfy bed. Good center for touring by bicycle or car, especially the Rideau Lakes system with the amazing locks and interesting towns. We canoed Upper Beverly Lake directly from the cottage, and were pleasantly surprised how few boats were around. Excellent fishing lake we were told. Not really close to restaurants, but Delta Foodmart just a few minutes away. Lots of play space for children. Carol and Eric

Great cottage. Perfect place to relax....quiet lake. Location was excellent, close to golf (Rideau Lakes Golf), St Lawrence River area for day excursions, town of Westport, short walk to town and it looks like a good lake for fishing. If you are into astrophotography, the night sky is dark....very little light pollution. Beautiful view of the Milky Way.

Aaron's place is very lovely and quite spacious for 4. Located across the lake, the view is wonderful and you can enjoy the sunset/sunrise from the patio. Check-in & check-out were very easy and Aaron was available to answer any question at any time. A good place to stop at Delta!

This place was great. Aaron was very responsive and accurate, so there were no surprises. You can't really seem directly off the dock because there are so many weeds but there is a nice small beach about 5 minutes away, as well as a fantastic playground with multiple setups for your kids. We would absolutely book here again, and would highly recommend dealing with Aaron.

I spent many days and nights on this Lake when I was a kid and teenager, helping my uncles get work finished, then taking the boat out for a swim. Now, I'm a certified teacher currently working in the environmental consulting industry. I'm also a Maple Leafs fan- but don't let that influence your first impression! Haha
