Hulda's place was fantastic. Extremely clean and comfortable place to relax after a long day exploring Iceland. The perfect distance to the Reykjavik nightlife while still being removed enough for some peace and quiet.

We loved staying at Hulda's. There was free street parking which was a huge plus. Her apartment is in a quiet residential area but at easy 15 minute walk to everywhere we wanted to go. We loved waking up to an ocean view!

We just returned from a quick stay in Iceland and Hulda's apartment was perfect for our needs! The location is great -- very convenient for taking the Flybus to and from the airport and also convenient for being picked up/dropped off for organized tours. We were able to seamlessly coordinate our airport transfers and also our visit to the Golden Circle and the Blue Lagoon largely because of how well located Hulda's apartment was! There is also an awesome bakery right next door with amazing pastries, great sandwiches (good for packing away for a day trip) and very good coffee! We were also able to walk into town easily for dinner. The apartment is very well located. The check in process was the easiest of all three of the airbnb's we stayed at during our overseas trip. Hulda was responsive, caring and kind. There were some issues (the downstairs bed was unstable and the lights in half of the apartment didn't work) -- but Hulda responded graciously and quickly. On the second day of our visit, she came by and added lights for us and the bed was fine the second night. She also gave us a gift from Iceland which was very thoughtful! All in all, even though we didn't get to meet Hulda, she was one of the best Airbnb hosts we've ever had and we would certainly consider staying here again on our next trip to Iceland!

This was the perfect place to start our vacation in iceland. Hulda is a fantastic host, and made our first couple of nights easy. It is very close to many of the busy streets downtown, yet far enough that you're not smack in the middle of it. There is a bakery right downstairs and a grocery right across the street. The apartment is well furnished. The kitchen is stocked with plates cups mugs utensils etc. There is a coffee maker and espresso maker, and ground coffee. There is a pile of guide books about iceland. Upstairs is a tv with basic cable. The WiFi signal is strong. The water pressure is fantastic. Speaking of water, the hot water in most places in iceland is piped in from thermal springs, and is therefore very sulfuric (hard boiled eggs). The cold water, however, is fresh clean potable glacier spring water. It is fantastic for drinking. The kitchen faucet in this apartment is the single-handle style, so be sure you have it all the way to the cold side or else you fill your bottle with egg water. :) Our stay was very enjoyable and Hulda is great and fast to respond to messages. Highly recommended.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay at Hulda's home. It was convenient and quiet and she was a very fast and thorough communicator. Having the bakery right next door was a huge plus. We loved the balcony but be careful as there is no door knob to get back in from the outside. The only issue we had was with the bed. The mattress was supported by a much smaller frame which caused it to be quite unsteady at times and it actually tipped over twice while we were on it.

Hello Lisa and thank you for your stay and kind words. I also thank you for the reminder to change the description of the bed, I had done so in some of the text and left out one location - great reminder!! :) All the best, thank you again and safe travels as always, H
