We had a great stay at Heidi's studio. The place is clean, neat and comfortable and has everything you need. It is located outside the centre (about 20 minutes walk), but that was surely not a disadvantage, as the neighbourhood was quiet and nice. Heidi was very easy to reach, responded to messages in a very short time and always had good and useful information. Do take her advise related to cafes, bars and restaurants. We did so and we had good meals, ended up in cozy, local pubs and had an overall great experience in Bergen. Totally recommended! ;)

To at Heidi's flat in Bergen was really beautiful. Unfortuniatly we didn't met Heidi by herself, but her friend Åse gave us the keys of our tiny flat. The furnishing and equipment was tidy, clean and lovely. Everything was like seen on the pictures. So … if we're going to visit Bergen again … maybe we would stay at the same place. Tank you very much!

The Studio is very nice and well located, 20 min walking to the city center, you have a grocery store and bus stops near the Studio. Although I couldn't met Heidi she was very helpful and answer all my questions. If you're searching for a place to stay and be away during the day thats the perfect place!

Hedi was very welcoming from our first email. She was eager to help us and spent time answering our questions and directing us around Bergen. The apartment is very sweet and petty for two people. It's small but very efficient! Heidi took time to create a welcome stack of maps and such which was displayed for us upon our arrival. The sofa bed worked fine for two people and was comfortable. Hedi had a lot of details in the apartment to make it feel homey. Fantastic coffee and wondeful shampoos and bath gel! classy! The location is about 20-30 minute walk from the tours it are of Bergen but it worked well for us.

Heidi was such a wonderful host and made my trip at Bergen so easy and enjoyable! She was very communicative even before I arrived in Bergen. She explained through messages how to get to her place from the airport, so I had no problem arriving at her place. It was only three bus stops away from the city center, so I had no problem getting around the city. Her neighborhood is very quiet and safe, and has a grocery store within walking distance. Her studio apartment was clean, cozy, and exactly as described on her page. Her shower has hot water, which is a big plus for me! Some hotels have terrible shower which I hate. Heidi also provided maps and booklets so that I can enjoy the city within a short period of time. The restaurant which she recommended to me was very good! Her sofabed is not super comfortable as regular beds, but is spacious (queen size I believe) and comfortable enough to sleep on. I was provided clean linens and towels to use during my stay. Even though she was very communicative, it was all through messages, so I was able to relax quietly and enjoy my privacy. Overall, I had a great time at Heidi's studio, and I would strongly recommend it to anyone who's travelling to Bergen!

Liten men kjekk leilighet.

I am a Norwegian photographer, based in Bergen, Norway. I am interested in art, music, history, hiking and traveling. As a Bergenser of many years I have a lot of favourite places, cafes and shops, which I'll be happy to share with you.

Originally from the north of Norway, I still frequently travel up to the area above the arctic circle for work, hiking and seeing friends and family. The midnight sun and the darkness in the winter is quite special, and I'd be happy to share traveling tips, if you plan to go further north in Norway.

In my profession as a visual artist I have travelled quite a lot, mostly for work and exhibitions. I've lived and spent longer periods for work in Paris, Berlin and New York. I love the noise, hustle and bustle, and endless culture offers in these cities, but I also love coming home, especially to enjoy the closeness to nature and the sea which is quite unique for Bergen.

Bergen has a lot to offer both with its close proximity to nature, and culturally. It is a good place to be a visual artist. Here is a big artist community, with good art spaces and studios to work in, and there are always things happening on the art and music scene.

As your Airbnb host, and your next door neighbour, I'll give you your privacy, but will also gladly share my favourite places i Bergen, and what I would recommend you to see and do while you are here.

I am new at Airbnb, and haven't stayed as a guest yet, but I really like the way it works. I like meeting new people and sharing stories and travel experiences.

Travel experiences that for me really stand out has been visiting Tokyo, and the Rocky Mountains in Canada. In different ways these places have made deep impressions, and I dream of going back.
