Leticia welcomed us with open arms when we arrived at the apartment, waiting for us on the doorstep. The apartment was well-appointed, exactly as depicted, in an ideal area very close to the Malecon and the Prado main drag. Double bed was very comfortable -- the single beds were a little tougher, though. The main selling point is the balcony, with an awesome view to gaze upon the fascinating and bustling culture of Havana.

This appartment is very close to all the hotspots in Havana. Leticia of one of those many warm hearted Cuban people. She is a cheerful host, extremely helpful and kind. She helped us return the rental car (and returning a rental in Cuba can be challenging we found out), gave tips on where to eat and what to visit with our kids and she is eager to make your stay as pleasant as possible. There are some nice restaurants close by, museums and the Paseo are all at walking distance. Some of the surrounding buildings are in a poor state, but if you walk around Havana you'll see this in every street in Old Havana. We actually found it very entertaining looking at the vibrance in the street from the balcony. The shower needs a bit of fiddling to work and the shower and kitchen are old but hey that's part of the Cuban experience at this price don't expect the Hilton. All in all good value for money and we would recommend this place.

Perfect location! At first glance the street location might look a bit intimidating. Its not at all! Right near the Malecon, Museum and a 15 minute walk to Old Havana. The apartment is immaculate, with new amenities. Leticia is on top of all communication and is very helpful. We would definitely book again.

Leticia's house was a wonderful place to stay in to explore Havana. It was a perfect size for a group of 3. A beautiful balcony, great beds, a nice kitchen and a well-stocked fridge full of drinks. Also, the location was perfect. Just one block away from the Malecon and walkable to the Prado and old Havana. Leticia and her daughter were so helpful and kind and made our stay really wonderful. I would highly recommend staying at Leticia's place.

Leticia and her son are extremely diligent, hospitable, and, simply put, awesome people who I would encourage anyone reading to book this place now. It's a beautiful 2 bedroom apartment, 1 block away from the boardwalk (El Malecon). The home was extremely clean, had a porch to die for, air conditioning, warm water, television, beers, and so much more. I've been to Cuba before, and have stayed in other places. However, this place easily ranks top 3 on my list of a really GREAT APARTMENTS to stay in Havana.

Leticia's apartment is very conveniently located - 1 block from the waterfront and within walking distance to Old Havana. There is also a nice spot to use the internet nearby. The neighborhood is less touristic than Old Havana and you get to see more of everyday life. The little balcony is great for that! Although the apartment is modestly furnished, it had everything that we needed and we felt very comfortable. The water pressure in the shower was low (which is not uncommon in Havana, but it was a bit lower than in other places we stayed). Leticia was an extremely kind, helpful, and patient host. She came to the rescue when some friends who were supposed to join us didn't show up. Even though she doesn't live close (we rented the whole apt), she came to tell us personally that our friends wrote to her that they cannot come. She also gave us an internet card and walked us to the place where we could use it to get in touch with these friends. She also offered other kinds of very helpful tips and advice that helped us plan our trip. Thank you, Leticia!
