A great place for a family. We were 4 adults and 4 children and it was perfect. We had very comfortable sleeping arangements, and a perfect common area, with all kitchen facilities, where we could make our meals and sit all together to eat. Location is very nice, close to metro to main locations, with a shopping mall, supermarket and a bakery close by.

Very unique apartment with loads of charm. Three bedrooms worked very well for us 6. The tub is really cool with the fish water spout. Beautiful tile. Thanks for the restaurant suggestions. One click away odd little southeast Asia district with the best of that food in Paris. Lot of Vietnamese food and really good. Go to the corner Tolbiac and go down one block for many restaurants. Good, cheap, quick. Lots of Pho restaurants and one of the best bakeries in Paris which won some awards. Take the subway for a little daily unlimited fee. Easy transportation. Great place on penthouse worth a small roof garden and several skylights. Really cool if you like that kind of thing. Also washer dryer I'dr a helpful addition.

It is good that there is an elevator in the building because this is a penthouse apartment. It is exactly as it is in the photos, with complete amenities. My parents looooved the house and the tiny details of it. It is ideal for big families traveling to Paris since it has a lot of beds. Location is superb because the train station is just in front of the house. There is also a big mall in front with a supermarket for all the things you might need. We arrived in Paris close to midnight and Ilan (Francois's brother) was there to welcome us to their home. We appreciated that despite our late arrival, we were able to check-in without any hassle. They also extended the check-out time to our convenience because of our flight schedule. I would recommend this place to anyone who wishes to visit Paris. Thanks again!

François was very kind in waiting for us to show us around even though our plane was delayed. The place is very close to the metro and across the street from a great supermarket. Maybe because we are not used to the type of bath they have instead of a shower, We found it cumbersome on a daily basis. Overly cluttered with owners belongings. lacked some seating in the upstairs tv area. Accommodated our family well.

My family and I enjoyed our stay. The apartment is large and comfortable. Additionally, it is very close to a major metro station, so getting to and from the tourist sites was pretty easy. The elevator was a real plus since the apartment is on the fifth floor.

Great time in Paris. This apartment really made a difference. It is very well located, right across the Place d'Italie shopping mall with grocery store (open till 9am-10pm except on Sunday) and many little restaurants, and seconds from the metro station. The apartment itself has a lot of character. The pluses are: 1-Very spacious top floor with kitchen/dining/living room space; 2-Efficient air conditioning system that maintained a comfortable temperature in steaming August heat (as long as you close the windows); 3-Host allowed us to use their indoor parking space located right behind the building at no cost - A parking spot across the street would have cost 32 Euros a day. The parking place may not always be available for renters but it was for us and a huge plus after realizing that parking on the street was not free anymore in Paris since summer 2015; 4- Apartment has a washing machine AND dryer and allowed us to have clean clothes quickly (dryers are a rarity in France); 5-Apartment has a small but working elevator: we rarely took it as we "enjoyed" the workout but it is good to know as the apartment is on the 5th floor (which would be the 6th floor for Americans since in the US the floor on top of the ground floor is floor#2, not #1). 6-Plenty of space for the 8 of us (3 adults and 5 kids from 11 to 13), although 2 bedrooms hosting each 2 people are lofts accessible with ladders and therefore not adequate for people with mobility issues; 7-Host was very responsive to address our questions (first with the WIFI connection then with the parking problem) and made us feel very welcome; 8-Appartment is a “living” one with a lot of personal items and food in pantries – it is not staged as a hotel. We were told we could help ourselves from coffee/tea (we only used few pods of coffee). Some people may feel funny about finding cheese and eggs in the fridge but it was fine for us. The minuses - They were not an issue for us but may be for some travelers: 1-No shower cabin, only tubs with a hand-held. We who live in the US are not quite used to sitting in a tub and use a hand-held – it was funny though; 2-Kitchen is very unique, custom and charming, but a little old (the trash pull-out cabinet always gets stuck) and therefore hard to clean, especially the countertop and the breakfast table made of tiled surfaces. 3-Nobody should be in Paris to watch TV, but there are no proper living room seating to sit a large group of people- only a couple of classic chairs in the TV area and a cute little loveseat in the dining room. Overall a really great time in this adorable place – we did feel in the countryside after a long day of Paris touring. Thanks to Iian and Francois for making their family’s apartment available...
