David communicated well. He sent messages to check if everything was okay. His house is a nice place and was pretty much what we were looking for. Also a nice touch with the details and info for places to check out or call. Recommended if you’re staying in the Shimoda.

Bjarte. Thank you for the review and advice. I will make clear that there are futons and not beds for two of the rooms. Glad you enjoyed your stay. You were an excellent guest. Regards, David

Secluded, peaceful property. When you're tall, please note; the doors are very short. Great responsive hospitality.

This place is amazing, you are surrounded by the forest and feel really in the middle of nature whilst being 10' away from the beach. You also really feel you live in David's place and not in some random rented house. Perfect Izu getaway.
