Coming from Naples, take the A3 motorway (Naples-Pompeii-Salerno). Exit at Angri Sud and follow the signs for the Chiunzi-Costiera Amalfitana Pass.
Once you reach Chiunzi, go on to Maiori. After about 5 km on the right you will find a pharmacy, after 200 meters turn right and continue for Paterno Sant'Arcangelo. At the second derailment go right and proceed to the structure, the road ends in front of the gate.

Coming from the south, exit at Salerno and follow the indications "Amalfi Coast". As we didn't find the house right away (my mistake), Giuseppe fetched us where we were and lead us to the house. The flat was very clean and with an astonishing view from the balcony. It's very quiet. We really enjoyed the days in Figlino. It's necessary to rent a car though if you want to explore the Amalfi coast. It takes about 25-30 minutes zu reach tue next bigger town at the coast, Maiori.

We loved staying here - lovely huge balcony with mountain views and the flat is a good size with an incredible fresco on the ceiling of the bedroom! Truly magical. The Amalfi coast is reachable in 30 mins (no traffic) and Pompeii/Vesuvius etc in about an hour or so. The roads leading to the flat are very narrow and winding and the drive is incredibly steep and also quite narrow so I would advise to arrive in the day time as we had some stress and trouble arriving at night. Otherwise the flat was lovely and clean and we really enjoyed staying there.

Response from Giuseppe:

The place was beautiful and the view from the terrace was fantastic! In contrary to another review there was shade on the terrace in the afternoon, so it was possible to use it despite the heat (we stayed there at the end of August). Unfortunately there was no air-conditioning and the main bedroom does not have any windows... Future guests should be aware that the walk back from downtown/the closest small grocery store is very strenuous due to steep inclines, so taking the car would be recommended. Also, we found the driving directions that were provided totally insufficient... after getting lost multiple times, always "restarting" at the (?) pharmacy, Giuseppe had to come get us, which he luckily did immediately. Parking was another issue. There were public parking spots outside the property, which we should have used, but Giuseppe warned us about playing kids damaging the car, so we decided to use a private parking spot on the property. Problem: we had our own fully loaded (for a 6 weeks roadtrip with an infant) bigger car (VW Touran)... not a light weight small rental car. To get to the parking you have to take a sharp left turn onto the property and then drive up a very steep narrow driveway (do not stop or slow down!!) that - to make things worse - is not straight but leads around a corner so you dont even see where you have to go exactly... well, after the curve we slowed down the first time to figure out where to go exactly and got stuck on the hill. After several unsuccessful attempts to get up the rest of the driveway and leaving some rubber on the road we had to back up completely and retry from the bottom, which then worked. Giuseppe said this was the first time this had ever happened, but we doubt it because the next day we watched a family having a similar experience and even damaging their (rental) car backing out. They decided to park on the street afterwards... On our departure day we had serious issues getting the car turned to drive out (rather than backing it out which is very difficult). So unless you have a small car, we strongly recommend parking in the public parking in front of the property! The parking issues aside we really enjoyed our stay though and can recommend this beautiful clean place to others!

Capisco non è da tutti saper guidare in Costiera Amalfitana dove le strade sono tutte curve e strette.

This is the best flat from my airbnb experience (>20 trips). Great value. Great view from the tarass. Close to the beach. Very calm. If I ever come back to Amalfi I will go there again for sure.

The apartment is nice and the view is great! Giuseppe is a nice guy and helped us out when we couldn't find the apartment because of our gps not liking the place.

Very beautiful spot, but do not trust your GPS to get you there. Meandering roads become commonplace once you get your bearings. The view from the terrace is impressive, and you're 15 minutes away from Maiori - ask Giuseppe to tell you wherre to park!
