A mews town house in the grounds of a Grade II listed Country House. We have 2 acres of stunningly beautiful gardens. Close to fantastic beaches, stunning countryside, the moors and rivers to swim in.
There is something for everyone; surfers, wine connoisseurs, foodies, history buffs, artists, hikers and families in particular. Close enough to Harberton village to walk for an Italian fired pizza or an excellent Sunday lunch, or there's Totnes, Tuckenhay, Sharpham, Bantham, Slapton sands......
2 acres of beautiful communal grounds with amazing views that are safe for children to play. We are in the mews in a warm, bright, child friendly house with it's own small private garden. The house is simple & clean, with 3.5 bathrooms, HUGE beds and a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere. A Child friendly home with heaps of board games, train sets, marble runs, TONS of books and lego. Bikes, scooters, balls etc. All stored neatly away in-case you intend to travel child free and just enjoy the peaceful setting, inside and out. Full fast broad band.
The gardens are available for all to use. The trees prefer the children to climb them. The lawns are great for picnics and the views are amazing. Relax - you are in the one of the most beautiful places in the UK.
Other things to note
The 'additional Charge' for more than 4 people only applies to adults. A family of 2 adults and 3 children for instance would not be charged. Please message me to confirm numbers and we can sort the extra charge out accordingly.
Bedroom 1 has an Indonesian king size bed with an organic futon to match. It can however be changed into two large single beds with single futons to match. Please note that whilst these mattresses are handmade and we love them, they are futons and for some (perhaps elderly) people they may prove rather flat. An alternative is to put the two singles on top of the one double. If neither of those options work we can source a regular mattress for your needs.
Should the weather prove unpleasant we have a plethora of DVDs and all geared up to stream movies and programmes for children and adults alike.
Our house is child friendly. We have an extra charge for more than 5 people, but we are happy to discuss this if by more than 5 we are talking toddlers or babies.
We have heaps of games for rainy days, a fabulous (and extensive) train set, a great marble run, lots and lots of story books and Lego coming out of our ears (actually it's hidden in trays under the sofas). So when the sun isn't shining and they can't play in the beautiful (safe) gardens or head to the many beaches - they will be happy at home.
Full fibre optic broadband available for streaming movies, etc.
But please be considerate of our neighbours, we are a small friendly community and we try to take care of each other. Please park, once you have unloaded at the very front of the manor and not in the courtyard of the mews.
Usually we have taken off too. But we are always in contact and we have some lovely neighbours and friends who are familiar with both the house and the area if you need some help or advice.
