Specific Housing Rules; ID check and premium deposit: This is a premium property which is professionally managed by our company. Upon your reservation, confirmation or at the time of check in you will be requested to fill and sign in a registration form and rental agreement (in English or Spanish) according to Mexican laws in addition to the terms of AirBnB.
This may include personal information, photo I.D. checking, and in the case of our top properties, credit card information to secure any possible damages which may not be covered by the AirBnB deposit. By completing the reservation on Airbnb you are in agreement with the before stated. If the guest declines to comply and provide the information requested by the host, the host will reserve the right to decline the reservation at any time.
Federal Act for the Protection of Personal Data: Our guests are safe to provide their information since we operate under the “Federal Act for the Protection of Personal Data" in Mexico.
The information provided is used for security and deposit reasons ONLY. No charges will be applied without the host's consent prior the confirmation of any service due or any infringement of the house rules and is securely verified.
Credit card may be used for extra charges if the guest decides to do so.
Cancellation. Cancellation policies described below are applicable in accordance to AirBnB´s own policies.
Check in and check out. We'll meet you at the lodging for check in at 3 PM on your arrival date, and our standard check out time is 12 AM. Early check in and late check out can be arranged in advance, subject to availability and may only be confirmed at the latest, one day before check in. If you wish to secure an early check in or late check out please contact us for an estimate cost.
Lead guest. The lead guest must be at least 24 years of age or older.
Smoking. Guests are not allowed to smoking inside.
Cleaning. We carefully clean and prepare each lodging before you arrive and after you´re departure. Please be respectful of the property, take care of it, we put a lot of love in to making it special for you.
EXTENDING STAY WITHOUT CONSENT OF HOST
In conformance with the terms and conditions of Airbnb, specifically under section “Extending stay without consent of Host", the client accepts that from the moment he/she postpones his/her departure from the date and time stipulated in the current registration his/her credit card will be charged with the double amount of the rate agreed for the stay for one single night, for each day that goes on until vacating the property, and the host will have the right to initiate the corresponding legal actions to have him/her expelled from the property, and the charges for performing the legal actions will likewise be charged on his/her account.
Access to the property is restricted to all unregistered guests approved by The Local Way. Access of more people must be authorized by the Host.
In case that the host grants the authorization described above, the Client will provide a list of the visitors that should not exceed from six people.
It is forbidden for visitors to sleep inside the lodging property without written consent from the Host through email, text message, (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN), or the Airbnb website. Extra charges may apply for this situation.
It is forbidden to host parties or events inside the property without written consent from the Host through email, text message, (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN), or the Airbnb website.
It is forbidden to run, jump and make noise in the stairways, hallways, elevators and common areas.
When playing music, it should be at a moderate volume that does not bother the rest of the guests, especially during the night.
It is forbidden to make any kind of loud noises during the night.
It is forbidden to move the furniture from its original place without express consent from the Host.
It is forbidden to make any kind of modification or enhancement to the property.
Smoking is allowed in the open spaces such as balconies and terraces.
It is forbidden to smoke inside the property.
The charges for the use of “other services", like laundry, ironing & transportation will be made in accordance with the price list at the end of your stay, in cash or making the corresponding discount from the security deposit.
It is forbidden to bring flammable, explosive and hazardous substances or objects into the property, as well as objects or substances that cause an unpleasant smell.
It is forbidden to store or use any kind of illegal substance in the property.
The Host is not responsible for the valuables, jewelry and documents property of the Client and other guests that are lost, we suggest using the available safety box service.
Make sure to lock the main door of your property each time you leave the premises. Each time you exit you must leave the key with the guard at the reception desk and at the end of your stay you should return the key to the Host.
Make sure not to forget any of your belongings at the end of your stay.
Lost objects are sent to the guest's address only by previous request. Delivery charges will apply.
You should clear your room on the agreed departure date before 12:00 p.m. unless you have specific authorization from the host to leave at a different time.
Any damage or malfunction in the room should be immediately reported to the reception desk.
Be sure not to leave the water running in the bathroom or the stove or heater on.
It is strictly forbidden to walk and stay in the public areas of the building
wearing inappropriate clothes such as pajamas, underwear, and swimming suits. Walking naked is forbidden at every moment.
Pets are allowed if the Host was previously noticed and has given his written consent with the corresponding extra charges covered. The guests should not stop supervising their pets in the building's public areas. It should also be considered that all the previously stated rules apply in these cases, so they should avoid for their pets to disturbing the peace, security and hygiene within the building.
The inventory of pillows, sheets, towels, etc., in your room is to be used during your stay and must not be taken out.
FOR BREAKING THE CURRENT RULES
The Client authorizes charges for US $1000 (one thousand US Dollars) for every violation to the current rules with exception of losing the set of keys, which will be charged with US $200 (two hundred US Dollars), from the moment the Host is notified by the property's management about any violation incurred by the Client or the other guests that come with him/her, or any other person that came into the property given their relationship with the rest of the guests. For these effects, the Host will proceed in terms of the Airbnb Payment policies, discounting the amount that corresponds to the security deposit granted by the Client in favor of the Host, in accordance to that foreseen in the “Security Deposit" Section specified in the terms and conditions of Airbnb.
These sanctions will be applied without prejudice of the civil or criminal responsibilities in which the Client, the rest of the guests and their visitors may incur.
ECONOMIC SANCTIONS FOR DAMAGES TO THE FACILITY
You as Client and guest declare that you are aware of the section entitled “Damages to the facilities" contained in the terms and conditions of Airbnb, so you know you are obliged by its statements. You therefore agree that Airbnb will charge your credit card in case the property where you stay suffers any damages caused by you, or any person staying with you at the property, or any other person that you granted access to the property after receiving the evidence that proves such damages, in conformance with the terms and conditions of Airbnb.
The Host reserves the right to inspect the property where the Client is staying, personally or through third parties so designated, during daytime hours and for the entire contracted stay.
FORTUITOUS CASES O FORCE MAJEURE
The Host will not be responsible for the damages caused to the Client and the other guests or third persons that are in the property, to their health or to their belongings, caused by ruptures, malfunctions, short-circuits, leakages, collapses, fire, droughts, or accidents, given that the Client assumes them as his/her own risk, even in the case of fortuitous cases and of force majeure, setting the Host free of any liability in any of these cases.
PROHIBITION TO CEDE THE LODGING RIGHTS
The current lodging is for the Client and its accompanying party's exclusive use. Any sub-cessions and/or transmissions partial or total, transitory or permanent, free or charged are forbidden. In case of breaking this disposition, the Client will answer with a penalization of de $(PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN) Mexican Pesos) for every day it is violated.
In case of a lawsuit, the parties are subject to the judicial competence of the Ordinary Courts in Mexico City and under the current laws in Mexico, waiving any other that may be applicable.
