This East End of Pittsburgh gem has easy access to public transportation (1 block), Children's Hospital, major universities, eateries, coffee shops in Lawrenceville, Shadyside, & Highland Park. Pittsburgh Zoo, Museums, cultural district, sports stadiums and downtown historic market square, are very close. Free parking. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers.
3 bedroom, 1 queen bed, 1 full sized bed and, one single bed in the 3rd bedroom. The game room houses a lush L-shape sofa and a big screen TV which is perfect for lounging!
Highland park is very close and a great walking, running area, pretty area for a short hike, tennis or public pool in the summer. Highland Park also boasts of Jazz on Sunday's in August, free movies in the park, free line dancing lessons, cross country skiing in the winter when snow permits.
You are less than a mile to the zoo, kayaking available on the north shore. Pittsburgh has wonderful museums; Kelso Archeological museum, a hidden treasure on Highland Ave. ~ free,
Carnegie, Andy Warhol Museum & Mattress Factory.
Kitchen complete with dishes, pots, pans, washer & dryer in basement, the back patio, living area and dining room. Please make yourself at home!

Other things to note
The front door, which is the primary entry, is heavy and takes a little getting used to. There is a side door for exit and back door to back porch. Parking available in the small driveway at the house. Ample on street parking is also available.

The house was born in 1938. How amazing right...but with it's charm, there are a few characteristics to get used to; like doors sticking and squeaks, all of which add to the good old charm! If you like comfortable and simple, and need space, you'll feel right at home!
